XBox 360 Contoller

It looks like Xbox 360 controllers are supposed up be compatible with the Pixel 3, but when I try to play, the left and right trigger are mapped to looking around. I have to keep them half pressed to keep from starting at the sky and spinning in circles.

There is some ability to remap buttons, bit I haven't found a way to switch the triggers and the joysticks. The Xbox 360 controller is listed as compatible over USB.

Having the same problem myself. Controller configuration settings in game don't stop the problems...right d pad doesn't allow you to look around, those functions are mapped to the trigger buttons and makes the game unplayable.
