Fatal Error

Games load but within 10 seconds I get fatal error Stadia must restart. iPhone 11 running Stadia app. Chrome cast Ultra running perfectly. All setup steps ran as expected. Only gameplay inhibited.

Stadia doesn't allow you to play on iPhone yet.

@LoneStar I'm actually surprised you were able to launch games on iPhone. When I tried it on my iPhone, it just told me to play on TV or Computer browser.

Or were you talking about the crash happening somewhere else?

Although there is an iPhone app available and no statement or documentation that it does not work on an iPhone. Traded in my Pixel two weeks ago.

Two games loaded from iPhone. Ordered Stadia when I had my Pixel 3. Controller pairs. App and game launches but fails in a few seconds

Games do play on MacBook Air using keyboard. I guess I should return the controller until support is available.

The "on a phone" section here indicates that you need a Pixel in order to play Stadia games on your phone:

I'm getting the fatal error too, however on my TV. Game starts up but stops with that error. Trying to connect Stadia account to Chromecast but also stops at that too.... Could be a server overload, at least that's what I'm chalking it up to

I'm getting that error too now. I don't know if it's just the Chromecast I'm trying to play on. Though, has Google commented yet?

Yes, No support for iPhone even though Stadia app is available for iPhone

@LoneStar Just to clarify, are you trying to play games on the iPhone itself (through the Stadia app) or are you trying to use the Stadia app on iPhone to play the game on TV using Chromecast Ultra? If it's through Chromecast Ultra, are you using the one that you got from the Founder's Edition package?

I was using the iPhone Stadia app on a Chromecast Ultra that I already have. The Stadia controller was configured with the Ultra and the app. When launching the game on the app, I would get the fatal error on the TV through the Ultra.

@Orwell which part of my reply are you referring to? You're replying to a something I posted almost a year ago, so some things that wasn't available back then might already be available now.

I know for sure wireless Stadia controller for computer wasn't available back in Nov 2019, as the feature was only added sometime earlier this year.
