Intermittent linking issues

I am unable to consistently link my stadia controller to certain devices in my home. My high-end gaming PC is the worst, with it taking as much as a dozen tries to get it to link. We do see this issue on other devices in the house occassionally, but never as much as on that gaming PC.

Solutions that we've attempted that seem to work:

Holding down the stadia button for long enough to get the second vibration before entering the code
Alternating between holding the stadia button down for 1 vibration vs. 2
Closing and reopening Chrome
Rebooting the computer
Just trying over and over again

The linking seems to work perfectly on Chromecast Ultra, on my wireless Macbook, and on my iPhone, oddly enough. But my windows gaming machine seems to struggle.

Note: The things we've tried do eventually work, but it's inconsistent. Nothing works 100% the first time, as far as we can tell so far. We've yet to run into a situation where we couldn't eventually get it linked, but it can take quite a while.

@robinmaypanpan Thanks for the detailed summary. Please follow along this thread below. The person was able to resolve the link issue after connecting to a CCU and then resetting the controller.

Do you think resetting will solve it once and for all? I keep jumping between various machines to play Stadia on, including two CCUs, a macbook, iPad, iPhone, and 2 windows PCs... I've had the same problem with 3 different controllers now.
