So the Google page says if you buy a premiere edition controller with the ccu the service is free no code for new accounts it directs you to pay on the app no matter what? I'm confused?

You can use Stadia for free with the games you buy, with Stadia Pro you get a selection of games as long as your subscription is active, plus 4k and 5.1 sound

You get your one month free pro and then you need to add in a card to continue. You can cancel the pro subscription at any time during free month with no money taken. Card then stays on account for when you want to buy games.
