Hopefully with the official release of stadia for Android TV this changes. Doesn't make sense to use a chromecast if I have an Android TV. Lets see!

I was wondering if you can use the stadia controller as a gamepad for Android TV? I recently bought a sony bravia XG95 (or X950G depending on where you live) and I was thinking of getting a compatible gamepad. But I also wanted to try out Stadia. So I was wondering if I could get both done with a single stadia premiere edition purchase?

I'm guessing only via usb . It works as a regular gamepad via usb on windows. But considering it uses wifi to connect to stadia servers first not sure it would translate into a good wireless controller for an android tv device.
