    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.stadia.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/27482"&gt;@davidland&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;You set up the Stadia controller through the Stadia app on your phone, so this shouldn't be an issue if you're playing on your phone. I assume you're trying to play on computer (Chromecast on public WiFi may not be the best idea). If that's the case, you just need to make sure your phone and computer are in the same network.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;How the heck we are supposed to connect the controller to a free public wifi network if after you connect you must accept and click the button in the landing page of that network.?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This service is getting worse and worse....&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can't connect the controller to a network that is behind a guest portal, there just isn't any way to navigate the portal to get authenticated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That being said, if you're playing on a laptop or your phone you don't need to connect the controller using WiFi in these circumstances just connect it via USB you should be good to go.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
