Okay so did some more testing. Went back to the CCU no frame issues looks great no issues.

Fired up my laptop same. Took the laptop to my desk where my desktop is also no issues. So i guess its my wifi card? I mean that is the only thing that makes sense. Wifi card is an Intel wifi6 ax200 160mhz running driver version 22.0.0.6 released 9/17/20. Router is an netgear orbi AC3200 I believe.

I also updated chrome just to make sure.

So I just got the CCU and controller kit for having a youtube subscription and played it on my 4K TV no problems. Played great but I thought the controller or the game had some lag so I wanted to try it with a mouse and keyboard on my desktop and holy crap the video latency is unplayable. with the CCU I think i say maybe 2-3 frame jumps in more then an hour of game play. On my pc i7 2600k with a Nvidia 970 16gb of ram its like I'm using a video card 3 generations older then is in my system. Video gets pixelated almost instantly i lose frames on and off. I keep getting the connection is not stable despite using the same wifi in a 1200 sq ft house with the base stations about 15 ft away in each case.

Speed test via m-lab is 180mb down 3mb up

the stadia+ shows I'm at 720p because i manually turned it down to see if that helped running at 60fps then i get a spike in latency to 100ms+ and after about 5 minutes in orcs must die 3 I get a bit of packet loss. Jiitter is usually around 24ms though. Is chrome just unusable with wifi?

I have a wifi6 card but only an AC router mesh orbi.

The really weird thing is that there is 0 input lag when i have frames, I mean its like I'm running the game natively.

Do you have any extension installed on chrome? those can interfer with Stadia, try running chrome in incognito mode and check if Stadia behave better on your desktop

The easiest way to verify it is your WiFi is to connect with a ethernet cable.

Maybe you have ethernet port or usb ethernet dongle laying around...

Other thing you could try is starting a incognito Chrome tab and try Stadia. Sometimes caching and cookies can be bad for streaming Stadia.

Your hardware specs doesn't improve the chrome gameplay.
I can only agree with previous posters. Try incognito mode, ethernet cable etc.
Clean install of chrome or other browser.

And remember that some games are capped at 30 FPS. And unless you use an extension you can't get resolution above 1080p on PC.
Might also be that your wifi is being disturbed by other signals.
Might be other wifi bands or something physical in between.

You can try to change the band of your wifi in the router settings.
