Like many others I thought I would give it a shot with this free trial, but I keep getting the above mentioned error message. I am on a wired connection getting 800 Mbps down, and after pinging Google's DNS I am getting 26ms on average and 0% packet loss. Even switching to the lowest quality settings (720p) does nothing. I'm on a fresh install of Chrome so no extensions or adblockers installed, I've tried restarting my modem, I've tried changing which band I'm on. and nothing. Still getting the same connection error. Any idea what else I can try to fix this issue?

have you managed to solve it? I was excited to try Destiny 2 on Stadia but never managed to play even once because of this error. Google speed test came out as "great" but it does not want to start

Hello maybe this helps. Close all the programs / apps or other things from your laptop or computer that runs in the background because google chrome uses a lot of ram memory, and what laptop or computer do you use?
