Wired controller not working

I recently got an Acer Chromebook and now my wired controller isn't working. When I unplug it, a message in Stadia pops up saying "link a controller" but when I plug it back in, it does noting. Any clue what's going on here?

*Controller does not have Bluetooth and it is recognized when I use a game pad checker.

Which controller are you using @Eyez_Up ? Only controllers listed on the link below are officially supported to work with Stadia

@Ivan its an Xbox One controller. It worked just fine when I was playing using an HP Chrome book. I got an Acer Chromebook and now it’s not working. However, like I said, it registers just fine when I use a game pad checker.
