Windows 10?

You can confirm whether the OS has actually detected the controller or not by opening your search bar and starting to type "USB Game", you should find "Set up USB Game Controllers" (Controllers connected by BT will still show up here, confusingly). You can test the inputs there. If the controller is recognized and the inputs are working there, then it's some kind of Chrome issue. I assume you're on the latest version available of Chrome by now as well - 83+.
