Hi everyone, We are so sorry that you are having this issue with your brand new Stadia controllers. This is super frustrating. Before we go any further, I'd like to help by asking a few questions just to make sure we can be on the same page. Did this just happen recently or did you receive the controller this way; out of the box? Was the controller exposed to any moisture? Do you see or hear anything strange that could be any indication of damage? I do also have a Troubleshooting process that may help some of you. If you could please try the following steps that would be awesome. Using a functional charger and USB-C cable, plug your Stadia Controller into a power source to charge it for 30 minutes. Hardware reset your Stadia Controller. With the controller off, hold down the Y button  , then press the Stadia button   until the controller rumbles and the status light turns on. Make sure you Set set up your controller on your Wi-Fi network using your mobile phone and the Stadia app  . Turn off any Virtual Private Network (VPN) services you have enabled on your network. Go into your Wi-Fi router’s settings and make sure Access Point (AP) Isolation is disabled. This is also known as “client mode” or “guest mode”.  For more information, check with your router’s manufacturer. Note: AP Isolation is often enabled on public networks in places like hospitals, hotels, student dorms, or corporate networks. This setting can prevent your Stadia Controller and Chromecast from communicating with each other. If you’re on a public network, check with your network administrator for more information. Unplug your Wi-Fi router from a power outlet, then wait at least 30 seconds and plug it back in.   Please keep us post with how this goes. We're here to help. Thank you, James

However, let's see what we can do here before you reach out to them.  Did you get an error method when trying to input your payment method? Which type of payment method were you trying to use? If you haven't done so already, I'd recommend trying to set up your subscription in a Chrome Browser and see if you have a different result. Let us know how it goes. Thank you, James

First, I'd like to ask a couple of questions to better understand what is happening. Are you trying to invite players to a party using the Public Party feature in the Stadia Menu? Are you trying to invite a specific friend to your private party? Are you able to join public or private parties? It's possible that since you tried to use a zip code you saw on the internet that the website and your bank may extend the hold. For now, keep an eye on our official social media outlets for news until Stadia does become available for you. Thank you, James

Hi everyone, Thanks for the posts and we're sorry y'all are still running into this issue. I wanted to make a few suggestions here to see if they might help with the Stadia App stability. For those that haven't yet, delete and reinstall the app. Change the mobile device's Performance settings to Up to 720p. You can do this by going into the settings of the Stadia App. Close any open apps that are not being used. Restart the mobile device. If possible, make sure that you're using the 5GHz Wi-Fi band instead of the 2.4GHz band. Let us know if any of these suggestions help at all. Best, James

Hi @OCD, This is a fair question and we're sorry you are running into this issue on your Chromebook. Having to go in every single time to clear settings can definitely be tedious. Let's see what we can do to help. First off, what do you mean that it works better on the application? What are the different setups you use when you play Stadia? When you say that it gets next to unplayable on Chrome, what does that experience look like? Do you have lag, degraded visual quality or both? If you haven't already, I'd recommend trying to open Stadia in an incognito window on your Chrome browser. If it seems to work better that way, then it's possible you have certain extensions enabled that are prohibiting Stadia from playing optimally,  Give us an update when you can. Thank you, James
