@Jankyhero : Currently the only options to get a code with which to create an account for Stadia is either buy purchasing a Premium Edition, Founders Edition which is no longer available, or by getting a Buddy Pass code from someone who has purchased either a Premium or Founders edition. Until the base edition is released in 2020 sometime, then those are your only options. If you buy your own controller and your own chromecast ultra then you're not going to be able to play Stadia until either the base edition gets released or someone provides you with a buddy pass.

"I' m assuming nobody has been able to try this out yet, as nobody has yet reached their renewal date (Nov 19th - Feb 19th)." - actually this has taken place already for any users that returned their Stadia founders edition or premium edition package but had purchased a game.  They are still able to play their purchased games.

@Streamer @ARGAH : Yeah as ARGAH already pointed out, this is typical around the time of Bungie server maintenance, there was a big outage in November just around the time of the Stadia launch and everyone was pointing the finger at Stadia but in reality it was the D2 servers in meltdown. @Dusknx : I was under the impression that either a debit card or a credit card was required, I don’t recall there being any option to use any other payment forms when setting up the account, although features inside Google pay might vary from country to country, in the UK I have the options of credit/debit or a bank account. No option to tie my subscription to any other payment form eg paypal.

I'm not aware of any announcement that the controllers have been updated in anyway, although it is a possibility that they are getting silently released?  I'd just get any that are faulty replaced, not much more to be done than that currently AFAIK.

If you don't like the subscription model currently available, and don't care about 4K or 5.1 sound, then just wait until the base edition is available, sign-up and then purchase Gylt.  No monthly costs or anything, just pick and choose the games that you want to play and purchase. If however, you want 4K and/or 5.1 audio then you'll have to buy the subscription and get to take advantage of the offers available. Also, nowhere has it been stated that a game that was previously on the Pro list and removed wont return to the pro list at a later point in time.

Sign-out of your account and then sign back in again and see if that resolves the issue. Open a session on chrome, start the game, check that its working, then quit that and retry on CCU. Just a few things that may or may not help.  If those things fail to resolve the issue, then I would raise a case with support and see what their suggestions are, especially if other titles are working just fine. Good luck, sorry couldn't be of more help.

There are plenty of websites that provide the information on "Set up a Windows virtual router to create a VPN-enabled wifi hotspot", and you would then just connect the CCU to that hotspot.
