@Acheraun : No further information published beyond it being on the 2020 list.  I suspect that it will be after the release for XBox and PS4 which is in June, PC and Mac are in May IIRC, so if I was to take a guess I'd say Q3-Q4 release for Stadia, but that is just a guess at this point, and happy to be proved wrong once more information is made available.
@kermit17 : Buddy Passes were issued to those that purchased the Founders Edition.  No announcements have been made AFAIK about Buddy Passes for Premium Edition purchases.

@benallie : Code is usually sent via email to the account that made the purchase, and is typically sent within 24 hours upon receipt of the premium edition bundle. If you haven't received it by now, raise a case with support, they will most likely require both your original order number and the serial number of the Chromecast Ultra, but they will be able to take you through the procedure.

@ChronosP : I can see your point, although I usually look at my wristwatch to check the time, or if I'm lazy I might ask Alexa instead.  I would suggest that you put forward your suggestion via the Send feedback option within the Stadia App (select Explore, then select the link Send feedback located at the bottom of the screen).

@Spoonablehippo : Contact support again about this, because that does not sound right at all. All you have done is purchase a controller, which is optional anyway (for a Buddy Pass user).  So I can't see why they would cancel your Pro subscription.  Best to double-check with them again on this, because it makes no sense to me why they would consider that that would be the correct approach to take. Although, even if they did cancel the subscription, it would only cancel after the current subscription has expired (unless they are going to refund that as well?).  So it doesn't sound like it would be an issue to resubscribe again when it is time to.  But, still contact support and discuss it with them, because the course of action shouldn't IMHO include cancelling a subscription.

@coregaming : I would expect that there are many folks in the same boat too, myself included.  Although no official announcements have been made to date, one would hope that it will be available in due course.  Get your voice heard by sending feedback via the Stadia App (select Explore, then scroll to the bottom of the screen and select the Send feedback link).
@Accursedimmorta : Best option to get your voice heard, would be to make the suggestion via the Stadia App, select Explore, and then at the bottom of the screen is the "Send feedback" link.

@Loggs89 : A few choices are available. Get a friend who purchased the Founders Edition to give you an unused/valid Buddy Pass code Buy a Buddy Pass code from the internet somewhere e.g. Ebay (can't vouch for the reliability of this route though). Wait until the Base Edition of Stadia is released later this year. No specific dates announced yet though. Purchase a Premium Edition and either find a use for the 2nd Chromecast Ultra and controller, or sell those on Ebay. Those are about the only options currently available until the Base Edition is released later this year.  The process is really only currently suited for buyers of the Founders Edition, Premium Edition, or have been gifted with a Buddy Pass.

@FranciscoPiRaM : The Stadia controller would need to connect to the phone via a wired connection, so you would need a USB-C to USB-C if I understand correctly that a  Samsung S9+ uses that port type. Stadia controllers can be purchased via the Google store.  https://store.google.com/gb/product/stadia_controller  I don't know if the Power Support CLAW for Stadia Controller will fit or not for the S9+, but that is the extra item that can be purchased too.

@Stige : I would have thought so, I can't think of any reason as to why not.  As you say, you already have an account (created using a Buddy Pass), so you can use that account on any Chromecast Ultra's that you have.  The code that you received should be valid for a friend to use.
