One of my recent feedback suggestions in the app (besides the standard "this sucks why are you closing") was a possibility of adding links in the game pages of our library to other services where we can buy the games. I will certainly be much more selective with my game purchases going forward (due to time & money obviously) but there are absolutely some games in Stadia that I would like to buy elsewhere. Sure, I can just go look them up myself but I figure if the team is already in maintenance mode, a little extra effort in this regard wouldn't hurt.
Possibly a hardware fault then, as you potentially expected. Maybe try a reset to see if the problem persists: https://support.google.com/stadia/answer/9584135?hl=en&ref_topic=9495415&authuser=0

This is a current limitation right now so it is working as designed. What gets me more is the toast message you get after closing the Stadia app that the controller can't be used outside of the app; that almost makes it sound like it may be enabled someday. Make sure to send feedback in the Stadia mobile or web app. You can also ask your Google TV (with the included remote) to send feedback, then have to talk to the computer. It's clunky but technically works so our robot overlords know what we want improved. Cheers

It's not really a protest but please send feedback in the app. It would also be nice if we could purchase games on the web using Play credit.

Try running Chrome in guest mode without any extensions. More annoying to log into Stadia this way, but it could rule out some extension you have installed in Chrome that could be chewing up your bandwidth while playing. It would also help to know if all games you play on Stadia exhibit pixelating or just this one.

Frustratingly, what you're describing still isn't active yet. You've got all the pieces in place, we're just waiting for them to turn on the Family Sharing switch to ON.

Heh, maybe I should copy this post as a boilerplate message. Watch this space: https://families.google.com/families Stadia is at the bottom, so we know it's coming. I'm definitely one of those like you looking for more updates on this. As others on this forum have wondered, my guess is the delay is with software publishers and getting the deals ironed out for how much gets shared between family members, concurrent play sessions, etc. I'd expect you to be able to share a Pro subscription as well, so what does that look like for subscriber costs? (Probably  higher) With most of Google's subscription services there is an increase of monthly cost for sharing streaming content like music or live TV with family members, I have to imagine the game publishers are in on this discussion. Trust me, I'm not defending Google here with any sort of delay but trying to understand why we're still waiting (with their content sharing and family account systems already in place). We certainly need to hold their hand to the fire and let them know we're looking for it though, so I'm with you there.
Yup, looks like we're still waiting for family sharing here. Another example, get on it @StadiaTeam! Watch this space: https://families.google.com/families (Stadia is at the bottom, but still no w... See more...
