@steam_link_user This is probably the most requested feature and Stadia team is already aware of it. We'll just have to wait and see whether we'll get the functionality or not.
@NovaTooks Unfortunately since Stadia is getting shut down next month, it's no longer to create a new account on Stadia.

@GoonieLivin You can access the money on your Play balance. You can use the balance to purchase Google Play apps, books, movies and some subscription fees like Youtube Premium or Netflix (depends on your location) What's more important is, did you remember how you made the purchase? If you got it through Google Play cards/credit, then it makes sense it went back to your Google Play balance. If not, then it's an issue that should be fixed. All purchases should go back to the original payment method.

@Ferrisgrad07 Nobody in here can help you with your request. What is wrong with your back account? If you bought it with a debit card with active account, it will be automatically refunded to that account. If your account is no longer active, you will get an email saying that refund has failed. When you get that email, follow the instructions to specify a new method of payment. If somehow the refund goes to your bank account that's no longer active, reach out to your bank and get help from them.

@BlockChainGG You will get an email that your refund can't be processed. Open that email, and you'll get instruction on how to specify a new payment method to get the refund.

@RedRose If the card is no longer valid, you will get an email to specify a new payment method for the reimbursement. For example, for one of my purchases faces the same thing, and I got an email with the subject: Stadia: Unable to complete refund Then just follow the instruction in the email. I don't think venmo is available though. You'll need debit/credit card, or if you want to get credit for Google Play / Pay.
@Jer1 Unfortunately that's the rule. Your refund will go back to the original method of payment. Maybe you can use it to pay for subscription services from Play Store apps, like Youtube Premium?

@TheMysticArts94 When you said card, is it credit or debit? In theory if they can't refund you to the same card, then they will ask a new payment method. But I've seen weird behavior recently among those that have been refunded. I say monitor your email for further instruction, and also monitor your card / bank balance.

@xlrr Chromecast Ultra actually exist way before Stadia was born. After Stadia goes away you won't be able to play Stadia games (obviously), but you can still use the device to stream other apps like Netflix or Disney+ to your TV. Your Stadia account is actually attached to your Google account, which you used to set up Chromecast, so not to worry about losing access. This article would be a good start on how to use Chromecast other than for playing Stadia games https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/3006709
@adamg @_bash_  You will get further instructions in the email to provide a new payment method, if the payment method you used to purchased Stadia games are no longer valid.
@Parkerchase58 That will come back as Google Play credit. You can check your balance from the following link https://play.google.com/store/paymentmethods
@PaYan Unfortunately yes.. no more new accounts can be created at this moment You can still access the game trials as they don't require sign ups https://stadia.google.com/games
@Belzer88 It will go to the original method of payment you used to purchase the item (I assume you meant the Stadia Premier kit?). So in this case, you will get credit for the Google Store.
