There are only two possibilities here: Either the bank somehow got your refund, so maybe you can contact the parent bank to check or alternatively you would receive an email at some point that your refund was not successful and to ask you for an alternate payment method. There's still time until the Stadia shutdown (Jan 18, 2023), so you could just wait a bit longer. Otherwise you could also contact the Stadia team, but not sure if they can be of any assistance at the moment if it comes down still to just waiting a bit longer. But these are all options available.

Hey @99SUPERSTAR, Stadia was nice to use, because you could play your games via Stadia on any device, mobile, chromebook, PC, etc. plus any big patches or something you never had to download, because Stadia was taking care of it, so you could always just login and play directly. But Stadia is shutting down on Jan 18, 2023, so there's anyway not much time for you to try it out. Plus you cannot make any purchases anymore on Stadia, so you can't buy games to try them out anymore. More info you can find here: Stadia Announcement FAQ

I don't think there is an option to transfer games to another person's phone or links. What you can do before Stadia is closing is to download your own data from Stadia though with Google Takeout.

Hey @CIRKA7299, Did you purchase the package via the Google Store? If so, it's possible you just need to wait a bit longer, the hardware refunds have begun not long ago. If you still haven't heard anything and it comes closer to Jan 18, 2023, then I'd recommend to get in touch with the Stadia team.

You can also try again to contact Play Support, even if the previous help was not useful. I had to contact them as well about Play Balance refunds from Stadia that were expiring and they were able to fix it, so I encourage you to try again.

If you didn't got any email about it, you don't have any point of contact to the old chat-partner, so I'd recommend to get in touch with them again in that case. If you have changed the payment method though for your refund, you probably just need to have a bit more patience until the refund arrives. Bear in mind that Google is still processing the refunds until Jan 18, 2023, so you could also get in touch again with the support if you haven't received the refund by then.
From personal experience: Contact Play team first if you have a Play credit issue and the Store team if you have a Store credit issue, they can help possibly quicker than the Stadia team.

Hey @lallo1138, Nobody here in the forums can check your personal account (or Google account) to see if the refunds went back. In your case you would probably need to wait and see if you can provide an alternate payment method once the refund fails or is rejected, but since it was successful in the first instance, I'm not sure what's happening behind the scenes. If in any way you didn't get the refund by Jan 18, 2023, you can also contact the Stadia team to double check about the refund, but they're super busy right now, so probably be better to be patient in the meantime.

You would need to wait longer in this case @JTSmagic. Either the funds will arrive at some point or the refund will be declined, in which case you will receive an email from Google with a link to pay.google.com to provide an alternate payment method for the failed refunds. There's nothing else that you or the support can do in the meantime for you.

Hey @manub, Here is the contact form for the Stadia team, you see available options at the end, so I'm not sure if they actually offer email support at the time. But I would really recommend to contact them only as a last resort, since they're superbusy atm and most issues with the refunds are solved with patience so far. But if it comes closer to Jan 18, 2023 and you still didn't got the refund, then it's still possible to contact them. Just be aware they can't magically make the refund appear, so it's really a last ressource. ^^

Hey @Karty, What exactly do you mean? Did you got an email with a link informing you that the refund has failed and you can provide an alternate payment method? If so, you can simply click the link, choose an alternate payment method and the refund will go its way. Otherwise you cannot update the payment method for the refunds on any other way currently if that's what you were trying. You have to wait for the email basically. If you don't receive any email, then it's possible the initial refund went through successfully in which case you can contact the issuer of your payment method and double check with them.

Hey @Hevski, Don't worry, it's normal that successful refunds are shown as a 0,00 transaction in Google Pay because it basically lists the charge. Since a refund means there is no charge, all of them are showing 0,00. You get a more detailed view of it when you click the transaction then you will see the original charge minus eventual discounts at the time minus the refund amount = 0,00. Once you have gotten the email about the refunds, give it 1-2 weeks. Either the refund is successful, then you can check your bank statements or check with the bank itself, otherwise if the refund fails you will get another email with a link to provide an alternate payment method. Once that is provided, it usually takes some days again (or max 1-2 weeks) until the refund arrives at your new payment method. So yeah, I'd recommend just be patient a bit longer, refunds should all be done by Jan 18, 2023, the latest.

Hey @DragoonMS2278, After you select the alternative payment method and click on "submit" there's a little window confirming that you've chosen it. So if you did this, then all you need to do now is wait and see if the money arrives in a few days (or worst 1-2 weeks) at your alternate payment method. There's no other way currently to see the choices again or to open the window again after you closed the window or clicked away the pop-up. But if you're unsure, you can click the link in the email again. If you then land again on pay.google.com but it tells you that nothing is to be done, then you know you did everything alright.

I believe the issue that you have (that only specific payment methods are given as alternative) could stem from the payments profile that you have. For example in pay.google.com if your profile is Austrian, I believe you would see Austrian available payment methods. It's indeed a bit weird that some purchases with PayPal could be refunded and some not, but since there was an issue with some purchases, that's now something only the alternate payment method could fix. Easiest may be if you have a credit card to use that one if the banks shown are not the ones you prefer. Or double check which payment profiles you have and if you live in Germany (physically) but your payment profile is Austrian, you could also consider changing it accordingly on pay.google.com to a German profile. I'm not sure what's exactly the case for you, but it's important that you have a payment profile in the country that you live in to use the payment methods of that country. And yeah using Austrian payment methods will most likely not be possible on a German payments profile.

Hey @kira5z, When refunds are successfully processed, it's normal that you'll be able to see them as "0,00" in pay.google.com. If you click on the transaction you will see the original price (the one you paid) minus possible discounts minus the refund, which totals up to 0,00 (that means basically that you didn't pay anything for this transaction if you get what I mean, because it has been refunded). Can you double check also in your spam folder or bin in your email to see if the refund-email maybe went there? Apart from that I believe you can only wait and see what happens, the refunds should all be processed automatically and Google mentioned they will be done by Jan 18, 2023 with all of them, so it's possible that the refund-process just takes time. You can also keep an eye on your bank-statement to see if the refund arrives or double check with the bank if they got it somehow. If a refund would fail, you would get an email with instructions on how to set your alternate payment method, but it can take 1-2 weeks for a refund to fail.

Hey @Zierf, I don't think Google is able to provide a ARN code, but if you really wanted to check, you could contact the Stadia team and see if they have any insight like this. Apart from that I believe the only thing you could offer is the transaction ID, which you mentioned already, starts for most Stadia game purchases with "CDC". So another alternative would be for you to simply wait and see if the refund appears in the next 1-2 weeks or until Jan 18, 2023.

Hey @ghostghaff, Since Stadia will be shut down on January 18, 2023, it's possible that you can't see the game anymore because it's not available anymore. If it's an issue with your computer or browser you could easily double check this by open the Stadia app on your mobile device and see if you can find the game there. From how it looks even game trials are not available anymore, so looks like you can only play games from your library atm as far as I could see. Hope this helps.

Hey @Opri, yeah 3-10 days is normal for bank account refunds. I noticed that in my case the email about the failed refunds arrived after almost 2 weeks, so you can either wait until you receive such an email or check with your bank in the meantime if they have somehow gotten the refund.
