Hey, On the technical part, I would advise to have a look at your network configuration on the software side. A level 2 switch should not, theoretically, lower your network throughput but other switch/router settings could create some drops such as port forwarding/range, special rules, ... As I am concerned, I always thought Ethernet would be more reliable than WiFi but, when I reached out for Stadia technical help, it looked like having the controller and the Chromecast in the same WiFi network was the best adviced configuration (at least 1 year ago). Maybe you can discuss this matter with them? Note: I also figured out that my ISP was providing me with 1/4 of the full IPv4 range (0 to 18k instead of 0 to 65k) as it was sharing a same IPv4 address with 4 persons because of addresses shortage. Other video-based usage worked fine but I had troubles with playing Stadia. Asking him a permanent full IPv4 address fixed part of my problem, if it is of any use to you Best!
