The way I resolved this was by cancelling Pro. And used my phone to enable it again with the Stadia app when it expired.
On my phone I had setup the other payment method within in the Google Play Store.
Somehow I couldn't figure it out on my PC.
But the Stadia app and Play Store payment method worked just fine.

If you want to share features requests and other feedback you can use the feedback function within the Stadia app. Stadia app --> Explore --> Send feedback (scroll down to the bottem)
For now if you are playing on a device with a Chrome browser you could try the Stadia+ unofficial extension. This adds a search option within the Chrome browser.
It even has some other need featues.

Did you claim this game while having Pro? Did you just buy the upgrade for the game but don't have Pro anymore? If this is the case you cannot play the base game so you don't have access to the Grid Ultimate DLC.
Or did you buy the complete bunddle the link you are sharing is the Bundle. Please note that Stadia shows the normal Grid game as picture in your game list. But if you start the game you will have all seasons available.
The easiest way to verify it is your WiFi is to connect with a ethernet cable.
Maybe you have ethernet port or usb ethernet dongle laying around...

Other thing you could try is starting a incognito Chrome tab and try Stadia. Sometimes caching and cookies can be bad for streaming Stadia.

If that doesn't work go to following website: https://support.google.com/stadia/gethelp Search for Stadia controller broken (example) Don't tap or click on any suggestion but choose next. Now you can choose to chat with a support agent.
If this is the case please contact the developer. 2K should be able to answer your question about this. Maybe it is because of the trades happening right now in the NBA?
Do you have a Chromecast Ultra? Because Stadia only works with the Ultra and not the normal Chromecast. Other issue could be a VPN that is active on your phone?
Chromecast Ultra doesn't like it when it is connected to WiFi you put a ethernet cable in it (own experience).
Try a hard reset with the cable connected in the power adapter.

Try a hard reset with the cable connected in the power adapter.
Set up the Chromecast and it should work.
If you then disconnect the cable and configure it for WiFi it works. Even if you reconnect the cable just unplug the power and power it on.
That is the way I manage it now.
