Someone needs to tell Google that their "time out" is WAY too short.  I get interrupted all the time, and am used to being able to just set the controller aside, do my business, then resume.  At least three times out of four when I do that with Stadia, it's already timed out.  And while that was annoying, this new issue of having to reboot the CCU completely is a SERIOUSLY big pain in the you-know-where!

EXACT same thing happened to me, so I did a search and found this thread. After reading, I figured I'd try to out-smart it by starting another game to see if that would "bump" the old malfunctioning one.  I did so from the PC.  It asked if I wanted to exit the current game (citing the game name).  I said yes, and the second game started in the browser just fine. That however did NOT fix the one on the TV + Chromecast Ultra + Stadia Controller.  Finally I just unplugged the CCU for a few seconds, waited through the reboot, and now it seems fine again. - AzDayton - Tue. 09/13/2022 @ 10:37:26
