Is there a solution to this problem happening on Chromecast with Google TV? Game connected to Ubisoft servers then black screen. I can hear the faint menu music but that's it
FIX! I had this problem as well. The solution is to plug headset into controller before turning on controller. If you don't, volume will be low.

Relying on 3rd party developers to bring people to a completely new and somewhat untested platform is silly. Warzone might be the only exception. I wonder if Stadia brought in a lot more users due to Cyberpunks horrible launch on almost every other platform. Stadias version was the best from what I had read. Stadia needs to make an exclusive, 1st party FPS Battle Royale that's made by Stadia, for Stadia to showcase how good the service can be. A 4k/60fps blood bath would definitely interest a lot of people. Destiny and PUBG just aren't doing it for me anymore.

Nearly every second time I play stadia on Chromecast with Google TV, voice chat does not work. I can hear others but they can't hear me. It seems like it has something to do with signing in. Sometimes I get promoted to choose an account and if that happens, everything works but sometimes the stadia app just opens without choosing my account and the voice chat doesn't work. Is there a fix other than unplugging the Chromecast? This is very frustrating
What do you mean by make sure controller is on same network as phone? Doesn't it automatically do that when you put in the linking code that is on your phone screen?
Is there a reason why the Stadia controller won't connect wirelessly to Pixel 5? I could connect wirelessly to my Pixel 3 without any problems. Any tips?
Exactly my point. Repair costs alone are a major argument for cloud gaming
Stadia should market itself as "worry free gaming". Bought an Xbox one x and within a year it needed a $200 repair. Hardware has to be a thing of the past. Worst case scenario, a new Chromecast cost ... See more...

Good to know! Thanks
Thanks for the clarification!

The closing of SG&E is alarming but it is understandable as the project is a massive undertaking. Is there any chance that the games SG&E were working on could be completed by another developer? I think I speak for many Stadia users when I say that the anticipation for a game that is built exclusively for Stadia is so much greater that adding games like Warzone, etc. A game that truly showcases the power of cloud gaming is so exciting. Outcasters isn't really that game but SG&E made an absolute blast of a game in Outcasters and has me feeling a bit empty that there won't be anything else coming from SG&E

Original games were all that everyone wanted. Honestly would prefer if there were ZERO third party games and ONLY first party games  in a few years. I'm not that into playing all the games that I could already play and with more stability, I wanted something cutting edge which was what stadia was supposed to be. "Huge 1000 person battle royales.." *welp* not anymore! I guess Amazon won again. So disappointing

Sure, if you don't buy any games. What I'm proposing is to be able to use the basic (free) tier and rent games. There may be a game that you would never play on your own, a buddy comes over and you could rent it for a day for $5 instead of buying it for $70. Would also work to give people a preview of a game before they buy it. Means we can be certain we will love the game, plus Google earns an extra $5 off of you...everyone wins.

Less of a question and more of a suggestion... Would be great if there was a link to a YouTube trailer in the description of each game. When I scroll through the store and read the synopsis of each game I wish there was a trailer for the game available there rather than having to open the YouTube app and searching the trailer. Deeper integration with YouTube would be awesome.

With Stadia advertising that its server power will make split screen gaming so much easier, could we please see more games offering split screen? Gaming just hasnt haen the same ever since split screen became so rare. Would be great to see this make a comeback. Games like Zombie Army 4 where you are taking on hoards of enemies are such fun games to play locally with a buddy, not to mention racing games, and pretty much anything else. I'm really hoping that Stream Connect essentially converts any game into a split screen compatible game provided that each player has a Stadia account and owns the particular game. Would also be great if more games were originally set up for split screen so the host can just add a guest or two. Pleeeeease Google!
Will mini games such as Monopoly, Risk, or Rocket League be available at some point on Stadia? Would love to be able to throw on a party game when I have guests over.
