Although stadia is capped at 60; having a phone that supports a high refresh rate (144hz) and a very strong WiFi6 or 5G UW connection it very rarely will lag. My router is right behind my recliner and I comfortably play Assassin's Creed Origins, Destroy All Humans, Borderlands 3 and more with very little to no lag. Only time I really even notice lag is a quick . 5 second sound lag but still worth it being as how I don't have a console. Once I get my stadia controller I'll be set. I tried Xbox Game Pass before this and this is much clearer quality, sound, and above all gaming quality than Game Pass. I'm playing on the Motorola Edge 5G UW (2021) with 144hz refresh rate and it's much better view than the 60hz option in the settings. In summery, having a higher refresh rate will always make your screen transitions more smooth and easy on the eyes. With gaming, you'll always be able to see things just barely before others. So, with cloud gaming you're able to load information to your screen that much more smoothly but you have to have a good connection. I find that my Wifi6 is fantastic. I've yet to try it on the 5G UW but I'm sure nothing is as good as a strong WiFi connection like that.
