The « fix » (power cycle) didn’t last long, and audio sync issue returned. If you go to reddit r/stadia, no one is talking about this. I have lost faith that this will ever get resolved, as either there is a too small percentage of user affected, or many affected yet nobody notices/cares. Not sure which is worse. I have canceled my subscription and I moved on to other gaming systems.

Chatted with Google Stadia Support. Asked a bunch of questions. Ended up doing this: unplug CCU HDMI and power. On the controller, Press and hold the Stadia button down for 8-10 seconds. Wait a minute or so. Replug CCU, link back controller with CCU. Yes, just a good old "reset" basically. After doing this the delay was reduced dramatically. Tried many games just to be sure I wasn't imagining. Try it out and report back?

Bump is a good idea. But I've lost hope that this will be addressed. I lost hope when there was a Q&A on reddit, post-release, and there wasn't a single question about Audio sync. I think most people just don't realize it's there, or don't care. I haven't stopped using Stadia because of it. It's already paid for so might as well enjoy it. But it has stopped me from buying a premiere edition for my upstairs TV. I won't buy what I know is a defective product. And for the people questioning if it's really the Chromecast (I've seen a couple posts in here like that). It's clear and obvious it's the CCU. Here's my setup: Xbox One X, PS4 Pro, Stadia --> HDMI to Receiver then Receiver to TV. Destiny 2 on XBOX: no audio sync issue Destiny 2 on PS4 Pro: no audio sync issue Destiny 2 on Stadia: big audio delay Destiny 2 on my PC via Chrome: no audio sync issue Destiny 2 on my Laptop via Chrome: no audio sync issue It's the CCU.
It's almost as-is the CCU has intentional audio delay built-in, Google knowing most folks don't run their TV with game mode on.....
I don't think there's any more tests to be done. Combine all the tests everyone here made already and we have exhausted everything. We need Google's help now.
My friend uses Stadia on his computer most of time. No audio sync issues. I asked him to try with the CCU. He confirms the audio lag - he hadn't noticed it before.  I bet everyone has it....
Not true. You simply need to enable preview builds and the CCU will download a firmware update that has Stadia compatibility. Multiple confirmed reports on reddit and even here - check 3rd post. (htt... See more...

(https://community.stadia.com/t5/Stadia-on-Chromecast/Using-existing-Chromecast-Ultra-devices/td-p/34 You'll need to sync your controller with the chromecast each time you switch CCU but it's only a 4 button press process. Very easy.

I think you could get better throughput over wifi but you will sacrifice latency and reliability for speed you don't need. The bandwidth requirements states 35Mbps or greater to get 4K. 100Mbps is more than enough and you get best ping and reliability of hardwired connection. But yeah, shipping a device in 2019 that is capped at 100Mbps over ethernet is.... well you know where I'm going with this... https://support.google.com/stadia/answer/9607891?hl=en-CA

I too am starting to suspect that with CCU sound is not in sync and people just don’t notice it. What I’ve started doing is each time after I close a game and Stadia asks for feedback, I enter « Fair » and provide reason « Audio no synced with Video ». Hopefully if people do that it will bring it to Google’s attention.
No change for me either. Still out of sync.

Anyone had any luck getting some help from Google on this?  I submitted a form through here on Sunday: https://support.google.com/stadia/contact/stadia_social_support_inquiry Haven't heard anything yet. Didn't even get an email acknowledgment.  I tried connecting the Chromecast directly in the TV instead of the receiver. Same issue: audio is late. Everything else is great.
Known issue. See this: https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/44268-grid-on-stadia-feedback-thread-for-stadia-players/

Same issue. Tried Destiny 2 for the first time and immediately noticed the audio out of sync. As with everyone here: game performs great, no input lag. But audio is late. Very noticeable, even during dialog scenes. Chromecast ultra with ethernet, hooked to Denon AVRX-4500. TV in game mode. I have consoles and other streaming devices: no audio sync issues. It’s Stadia. Very annoying. Hoping they fix this quickly.
