The only way Stadia will get more games is if Google is able to get publishers to take it seriously. IMO that means: Make Stadia more accessible; more devices/compatibility, more controllers, more ways to play Improve performance; people will pay for something if it has good value and quality Improve the user experience; better UI, fix Stadia store/app bugs (not talking about game bugs) Make the Stadia controller an *actually* good proposition; right now, everyone has the looming feeling that Stadia might opt to shut down tomorrow with no notice, and the controller will be left as just a controller-shaped paperweight More integrations, deals, offers; it may be unprofitable short term, but trust me, unless you have some other ace up your sleeve, this is the only option *AND* if you want games, sitting around doing nothing and expecting people to just come over wont help. You need to pursue developers, and entice them to join the platform. If you dont give them a reason to join, or if they don't know what stadia even is (which im sure most people don't), they likely wont port it. If I ran a game studio, unless i had some guarantee or reason to, I wouldnt port my expensive game to a seemingly niche platform from a company with a terrible track record for long-term support If you have games, youll have more willing players. I honestly wish I had reason myself to get Stadia Pro or buy everything on Stadia, but given the hundreds of current reasons not to and the fear that Stadia will just disappear out of the blue, Im not quite sure. Stadia is a *very* exciting and impressive feat, but it will have all been for nothing if Google doesn't step up

Im not sure about the logistics of this and how Stadia Controller software would need to be changed in response to adding such a feature, but I would suggest that the Android and ChromeOS team add wireless controller functionality on non-Stadia games via wifi. I would imagine this would work on Android mobile, Android/GoogleTV, and Chromebooks, but essentially, it would have controllers connect wirelessly via WiFi. Im aware that connection to Bluetooth is unlikely due to the spec only using it for initial setup in the Stadia app, but this would essentially have controllers connect the same way they do with wifi (entering a 4 character "button" code), which would then connect the controller via wifi, with a software layer interacting with the device and acting as an XInput or DInput device, just as it does when connected to USB-C. This would greatly attract the proposition of a controller for a wider audience, as it would also be usable for mobile Android games/Chromebook and big screen TV games. (I would also like to add this helps Google establish ChromeOS as a gaming "powerhouse" if thats what they want).   Note: I am aware that it has been talked about with Bluetooth in the past and has been rejected, however this suggestion describes use with wifi which doesnt fundamentally change how controllers work.
