hey there,  what: since public parties got rolled out, the Stadia gamepad crashes after some time when participating in a party (only tested in private parties). how: The gamepad either restarts and disconnects from the device (CCU or Notebook (Macbook) or, in some cases, blinks orange and needs some time to be able to restart (can be fasten when holding Y button during power cycle to reset and reconnect via stadia app)   This is a really annoying problem and happens every single time to me and my friends when we join each other in parties. As a workaround, we now connect the controller to our devices via a cable, but this is far from convenient. Does anybody else experienced this problem?  small update: it seems that the problem just occurs when you are using a headset connected to the stadia controller. so here are the steps to reproduce: * join a party * use the stadia controller via wifi * use party chat with a headset connected to the controller

Yes, it's an old thread, but i'm pretty sure now that the in-game performance does have an influence on the conneciton quality indicator. i think whenever the game is not responding to some sort of heartbeat from the stadia SDK, stadia thinks the connection quality is bad, which results also in a short degraded picture quality (because auto adjustments). you can observe this during the PUBG loading phase for example. So, to sum it up: if the game struggles to perform well, it could give you a bad signal warning, even if your connection is stable.
Another interesting thing with PUBG: everytime the game loads (title screen), connection quality drops to "bad" during the loading screen

Hey there, I have already pre ordered cp2077 weeks ago. Is this offer also availabe for existing pre orders or do i have to cancel and order again? Is this offer also available in germany?
Hmm, maybe activision does just the console and PC publishing and the contract was made directly with FROM SOFTWARE.
Not good at PUBG? perfect match! i'll send you a request!

hmm, i really don't get those kind of complaints. It was communicated by Larian before that there won't be crossplay between platforms in the first weeks of early access.

I will test it with the updated version anyways.   btw. you can't even cross play between GoG and Steam at the moment
In the official statement, they've said that there will be differences between platforms and storefronts. They want to enable crossplay in a few weeks. Give them some time   edit: we're sync again

The EA Version for Statia was updated to 4.1.83.3931 Workarounds for some annoying Bugs we've encountered (prior version, but may still be in the game): 1. Empty world after Prologue, unable to save: After the Prologue end cinematic, you are in an empty world and the save button is greyed out. To fix / avoid this, save the game manually during the end fight of the prologue (we save right before this last thing you have to touch that triggers the end of the Prologue) 2. Multiplayer Lobby Crash: Load a Solo game save after the prologue, save again, exit to main menu, try to open the multiplayer lobby (you should be able to enter). <- this is fixed in the current version 3. Camera does not follow the character anymore (mouse and keyboard): Hold the left mouse button to move in cursor follow mode, camera should follow your char again. 4: Party member does not follow you anymore after using a portal: Keep an eye of your party members after using a portal, It happened to us that one member did not follow us anymore after teleporting. When we wanted to move her (Shadowheart, in our case), she glitched back to the portal. we fiddled around with save and load, decouple, and couple again, after some time, we where able to move her back to the party without loading a pre portal state. 5: just a reminder, save often!: Save often, use quicksave to make it a common behavior every now and then, also rotate save states from time to time, in case your last save is broken due to a bug.

Hi, during a good co-op time with Baldur's Gate III yesterday, i had a massive connection quality drop, the game dropped a lot of frames and the picture was blurry. after i've debugged my connection i could not find any problem at all (13ms ping, full down and up capacity). So i launched another game and i did not have any problems, i rejoined BG3 and the problem there also disappeared. My theoretical question: BG3 is an early access game, so i also expect performance drops, caused by the game itself. How does Stadia react to a game which becomes unresponsive and stutters? could this also lead to a "poor network quality" false flag, because the game cannot respond correctly?

You can use Multiplayer with your Stadia friends by inviting them via Stadia, the Multiplayer Lobby is currently broken (looks like the Stadia servers cannot reach some Larian servers) There are also issues on the Steam version (also some crashes, empty lobbies etc.)  Profile button is also not working, which could be kinda related to the MP problem. I guess we just have to wait a couple of days until they sort out those more prominent bugs. in the end, it was the first day of early access. so remember, fellow adventurers:  Hic sunt dracones!

Hi Community! I recently saw a Reply from the Developers of RUST that they currently evaluating the possibility to bring the RUST game to Stadia. RUST was developed using the Unity3D Engine and is compatible with the Stadia Makers Program (as far as i know). If you also would like to see RUST on Stadia, you can upvote the Ticket on their site to signal some interest https://rust.nolt.io/233

The ability to seamlessly upgrade the hardware you play on are one of the biggest selling points for cloud gaming to me. People who have an interest in gaming do also care about specs, as we see with the current console generation shift. I would love to hear an announcement for gen2 hardware, because this will generate some positive new media awareness.

Hi, My Friends and i loved to play Single Player Games together by sitting next to each other and simply passing the controller around (back in the PS1 days). We even tried this recently remotely with Darksouls, running on a Paper Space instance via Parsec and it was super Fun. I would love to see such a feature on stadia, where you can simply pass the session around to some friends in a party chat that are currently watching you play. This would also work nicely as a youtube format (some sort of Let's Play Together). Does the upcoming youtube integration have so little offset that this could work for a viewer who is also communicating with the player? Can the state share feature be used as a way to pass over the session to another player?
