..it's not e-waste, it is real waste. I am living in the EU and I am pretty sure, that there is a law against that kind of thing. If google will not make this device usable for us and an extended lifetime, we should simply return it, demanding proper recycling and point the EU commision towards this. Google will have to pay a multitude of money, just to handle the returns properly...fixing it will be much cheaper. The new buzzword is ESG-reporting  and sustainability act.

Hello @Samas , thanks you for your response. Yes, that is a work around and I can confirm that it works. However, this requires enabling of Chrome on the device, which is something I'd rather not do in that case. Currently I helped myself my limiting access of Chrome to 5mins, but I'd rather like to have a method of "pushing" or enabling installation of the stadia App to the kids device.

Hello @RXShorty  Thank you for your reply. Yes, that actually had been the way, when the app was installed previously. Please note, that you can only activate/allow the use of an App on the kids device that is actually already installed there, by this method. Now, what happend is this: After the update to the new version in play store, the existing, "old" App complained about/was enforcing the update which turned out to be impossible for a kid under that age and actually the app had to be de-installed in order stop complaining...and now cannot be reinstalled again. Hence my mentioning of a deadlock situation. Sorry if this is not well explained, but english is not my native tongue.

Hi Folks, we are a family of five, with two kids still under-age and we are sharing games from within the family group. Of course the adults/parents are not sharing every game automatically, but on purpose. Meaning, that the kids actually had to request access to a shared game when it is a fresh addition, which they would do via their Stadia App on their phone/tablet. Then the adult/parent would grant that access if this is deemed fit. Now, with a recent update of the Stadia App in the play store, the App is rated for persons of age 16yrs and above and the kids can not deny updating it, but were rather forced to delete it.  Hence, the App is rendered unusable for an under-age kid/players to redeem access to the family group games and making the process of granting access to games to individual members of the group unusable for further additions of new games to the family group Any help on how to solve that would be very much appreciated. TIA, Ford
