You guys seem to think I’m upset because I failed to read the offer. The story here is not about reading the terms it’s obvious I missed the point. The story here is the first representative named JD telling me I was good to go and failed to explain I did not meet the requirements. All of you are looking at me and judging me because I didn’t read the terms and follow them. I pose this question to all of you. Why did the first representative fail to say anything if he had access to the same information as Elan? The google support rep failed to notify me and did not give me the opportunity to address the problem. Because all I would have to do is purchase a separate game. Either he lied on purpose or it was a honest mistake. The end result is the same. I became ineligible for the offer because a google support representative failed to do there job. Lastly I can play on any number of systems. And I can cancel any game and walk away with no issues. So you see the story here is not about failing to read the terms. The story here and why this is marked as a fail is to show you google made a mistake and forced me the consumer to pay the price instead of being held accountable. When this happens to you. Don’t say I never warned you. -Enjoy Google does not care that the representative failed to do their job and advise me that I did not meet qualifications. I ordered a game that passes the 59.99 limit. I also pre ordered said game. That dates it says for the promotion just says “launches” it never clearly states it needs to be playable or even available to play. The rules also state that you need to buy said game during the promotion period. Which I did. After I did I messaged support to have them confirm. Which JD did. Then the 20th comes and no code. I again message support. The chat line was long 30 people ahead of me. Then I get on with Elan. Elan says the game has to available during the promotion period not a pre ordered game that comes out next year. I disagree. I never saw or read anything that clearly defines that. I also have the issue with JD who had access to everything Elan does and told me I was indeed eligible and all good to go. I would like to point out that Elan speaks very odd almost not human. (Side note I have a bet that Elan was not human and is AI. Also while I was typing messages he sent answers before I sent the question. Clearly google has the chat software that allows them to see the message before you send it. Beware) Honestly I don’t know what the big deal is. They will still get their money. At this point if the support that Elan sent me to decides to deny the deal. Than it’s garbage. Their own employee said I was eligible and on track. This ladies and gentleman is a complete bait and switch.
