I just tweeted at the Stadia team yesterday with this same issue. Happens to me in most games, but not all the time. They suggested long pressing the Stadia button on the controller for 10 seconds and then powering it back up, then picking the game and trying.  It worked last night for the rest of my gaming session.
I'm going to just start requesting Stadia team work with Starlink to put blades right in Starlink's ground stations. Please.

Parental controls will automatically share whatever you have set as shared with your family group based on their account age and the rating for the region your account is in. If the kid's account is 8 it'll only share games up to that age based on the ESRB rating. You don't have to handle sharing individual games or worrying that child B shouldn't have games child A has.  That said, every time they launch a new game you have to approve it the first time. So you'll get an email (or possibly a notification from family link) to approve.  Sorry I've replied three times. More stuff keeps coming to mind.

If the kids are under 13 you have to create accounts for them IN the family link app. It's a giant pain in the ass, but it's the only way to be sure Google won't up and cancel them on you if it figures out they are younger.    Once you have accounts created in family link, just go sign in to Stadia with their google account and you'll be able to add it to the CCU interface.
Nice to see Google and Terraria's dev kissed and made up. I imagine it went something like this: "Hi, we're sorry about that. Here take this suitcase full of cash as our sincerest apology."

@ChaosTheory At first glance I thought maybe one of the "but not those games" types that really only wants Call of Duty or Battlefield, and every other new game isn't a real game, because real gamers only play those two ... But I digress. It's just a little frustrating because the entire world is prepared for them to just shut it down and walk away, just because they're so desperate to be right about something, and every day that passes where Google doesn't just shut it down and walk away is one more day they get to have this "I hate you because you're different" attitude about it. If they spent half as much time just enjoying what it offers, they'd be too busy having fun to notice what's missing that eventually the things they really want will appear on the platform and we'll all be much happier. And then Microsoft comes along with the exact same service and it's hailed as the best thing since sliced bread and will be the final nail in Stadia's coffin... I play on pretty much every platform except Sony's, and as far as streaming goes Stadia's is far and away the clear winner. I even play it on Starlink. The lag is about equal across all services for me, so it's down to stream quality and that's where Stadia wins hands down. But since it "doesn't get games" I guess I just need to move on and use the inferior competitor's service because at least that way I'll have "the good games" and online "won't be a ghost town" right? Maybe if everyone that thought that way would give Stadia a shot, that stuff would naturally improve? Crazy ideas, I know.
@WireSpy this update has two new games. Did you miss those completely or?
My post said none of those things, but thanks for throwing words in my mouth.  Enjoy the PS5, I hear it's a fantastic device.

They literally give you a powerful platform for free and you're having a tantrum over not seeing logos on game trailers? Pro is an optional subscription that has its own set of benefits, and completely separate from what titles appear on the platform. If Pro isn't providing value for you then yeah, cancel it, but don't whine about what titles may or may not be coming to the platform in general. They've been adding massive games at launch for a while (Cyberpunk, RE:Village) so to sit there and complain that boo hoo hoo such and such a game isn't coming boo hoo hoo when all we know is a Stadia logo didn't appear on a frickin trailer is next level entitlement. If it bothers you that much, drop the $400 on a PlayStation or Xbox, or couple thousand on a PC and play them there.
While you continue to enjoy spending hundreds or thousands on hardware so you can experience ultra settings, we'll continue to enjoy our free gaming platform without you.
Cool story bro.

Hilariously, people think Google owes them an explanation about the post from yesterday. Yesterday's post was the explanation. They're closing the studio to focus on the platform. Why does this need additional comment? It stands on its own. Stadia, the platform, isn't going anywhere. Stadia, the games maker, is all that's gone. And considering they never actually made a game, we're not actually missing anything, and anything they might have been working on we weren't going to see for another couple years anyhow. Now, who's enjoying those new pro games?
