Except there'a been a native Stadia app for Android for a long time now, so there's certainly precedent. A native Linux app doesn't have to go in the Steam Store (though that is obviously the best place for it w.r.t. Steam Deck users) - would Valve insist on a 30% cut of in-app Stadia Pro subs if it did (dunno if that's the case with the Android version)? Yes, you can set up a Web short-cut to the Stadia site inside Steam's big picture mode (would need to run Chrome/Chromium) and it would be nice if SteamOS 3 included the short-cut and Chrome/Chromium pre-installed, but a native Stadia app on the Steam store would be the most user-friendly way to go.
