When I got my founder's edition controller in December, it worked perfectly fine up until July! Then it started disconnecting every time I play a game. The same thing is happening to me that's happing to ya'll; I'm forced to watch myself get killed while trying to get my controller shut down, boot back up, and reconnect to Stadia. Since August, I've been working with Stadia support on this, and first, they thought I changed my internet settings, which I haven't! They wanted me to try a different wifi network, which doesn't matter because I'm on one network playing, and my son is on another network in the same house, and he has the same issue. My wife plays on her MacBook, and her controller disconnects on her from time to time, so she's forced to play with the cable. Stadia support finally sent me another controller and chrome cast ultra, and when I received it, I set it up, and about 10 mins into it guess what, yep, the controller disconnected! I don't think it's limited to the founder's edition controllers as my wife and son have the premiere edition controllers. I believe it may be a software issue when all three of us are having this issue but works fine when connected with the cable. With so many others having the same issue, it seems that it may be a software issue that could be the problem. It is reassuring to see that others have the same issue that my family and I are having with the controllers, and it's not just us. I wish Stadia would do something about it, though. Not only am I having an issue with the controller disconnecting, but when I'm playing "The Division 2", I'll be doing something, and the controller will become unresponsive to the game itself. For example, when I'm behind cover, and I stand up to shoot someone, then go to squat back down, the character stays standing and keeps shooting even when I take my hands off the controller. Or when I'm walking, and I go to turn, and the character keeps walking in a circle and won't stop until he hits something. I can hit every button, and the character won't move or do anything, but when I press the Stadia button, it works completely fine, just not the game itself. I can exit the game, but when the start of the game comes up and says, "press A to start," I can press A, but it does nothing. For it to work, again, I have to shut down Stadia, and then it'll work. But when I'm playing on my Mac with the controller connected via the cable, I don't have any problems, which again leads me to believe that it may be a software issue. I've been working with Ubisoft to figure out why it's doing this particular issue and to get it fixed, but when I try to get a video of it for them, it seems to never want to happen. Has anyone ever ran the nonresponsiveness in a game but works fine when pressing the Stadia button, or is it just me? I've never had any issue in any other game except "The Division 2", which is why I've been in contact with Ubisoft.
