Hi everyone, So I found this major game-breaking bug in Ark - survival evolved today. I wanted to join a server I made elsewhere, so I change the Session Filter to 'Unofficial' and instantly the game crashes.  Stadia prompts the following message; "Error, Failed to start the game session". When I select "OK" another message is prompted; "Reopen game, Uh-oh. The game had a glitch. Please reopen the game to keep playing." ... I shrugged and thinking 'Ah that can happen' I closed the error messages and started Ark again. It loads into the main menu, but now whenever I select 'Join Ark' the game crashes immediately.  I don't know if the server list is too large to load or there is something else wonky going on that makes the game crash. I tried the same thing with another account and as soon as you change the session filter to 'unofficial' you are locked out (forever?).    What can I do so that I can see the servers again? I'm feeling very 'stranded and lost' without Ark working     Thanks!
That's very strange, I can't think of a reason for that to happen. You could check if you have PnP enabled, not sure if it affects Stadia, but it affects connections to gaming consoles sometimes.  A... See more...

Let's keep our fingers crossed for bug fixes and patches... I have a wired connection with my Chromecast setup, and only experienced disconnect once, coincidentally that was yesterday. As long as it doesn't happen on a regular basis, I bet it was just a fluke..

Maybe check if the DHCP-server options are turned off on the access point.  Also, reboot the Chromecast after connecting the cable before continuing to play. And maybe a factory reset for the controller.   Best

No , I'm pretty confident USB to Chromecast connection is not possible. Wired is just for browser on PC or smartphone.    Bummer, I know, but maybe you can improve the controller connection with Stadia's tips? Using 5G WiFi preferably dedicated, no other devices connected to that WiFi and having your access point connected to modem/router with Ethernet cable. Also connect the Chromecast to with Ethernet to that access point

I think I experienced the same thing yesterday while playing farming simulator. In the middle of the game the screen went black and and afterwards my Chromecast rebooted.   The game session was not recovered (usually when inactive I have 15 minutes to rejoin the running instance).   Reading your post makes me think farming simulator is bugged specifically. I have not seen a black screen of death with other games.    Bit off topic, first week I could join voice chat, but since a couple of days I get errors saying I need to connect a microphone. Doesn't it work through the built-in assistant microphone? Is this a bug, or was it a bug that is now fixed?
