I have been experiencing a ghost glitch while playing D2(only). This glitch affects the functionality of L1/L2 R1/R2. The glitch comes and goes. I have been troubleshooting this problem for the past two days but can't find a reliable fix. I am working with 5ghz Wi-Fi (only) on all devices listed. Google TV/Surface Go/HP Laptop. Not to get into the specifics of each device they all work seamlessly with every other Stadia game I have except D2. My issues with D2 controls seemed to come out of nowhere no network changes were made by me. My first thought was the controller performing a hard reset to factory reset and still nothing(at least initially). Google TV and Surface Go both had equal results. I thought I had solved the problem by plugging my controller into my Hp direct with a cord. Plugged in played for an hour, and chalked the whole thing up to misfortune. The next day plugged in direct to Hp. Same problem with listed button functionality not working. This time I went to settings for a custom-built inverting L1/L2 R1/R2 solved the problem and nothing changed when I switched back to default. Game time. Break hours pass. Back to Hp default controls not working repeated the process of custom to default and no go. I'm at a loss. Actually, I'm frustrated and committed to just using my Hp and learning to play D2 with mouse and keyboard, but I had the same problem, The exact dedicated button functions were mirrored on the mouse straight out the gate when attempting to aim and fire. Went back to Surface to Google Tv and eventually got it working again. Still at a loss and even more confusing is the screen read-out I am given. I am going to try and include images to help with the description. In the action screen lower left-hand corner there is a key. This key track characters Super Charge (L1/R1), Grenades (L1), Melee (R1), and special (B) (which can also be included in this tale) over time these abilities charge. You can normally watch this slowly build upon with gentle waves rolling up to the top of the boxed icon or left to right with Super Power. In my case no, I have a dull white that has a faint all-over pulse of off shade white until I depress L1/R1. That gives me a red pulse for grenades(L1), and the same for Melee(R1). Baffling? Did I glitch my D2 game? I almost deleted a character to see if that would bring a more permanent fix but just for the simple fact it works intermittently I can't bring myself to perform that test. Plus all the time and money I have put into D2 this whole scenario would be downright depressing if it weren't for my fixation on finding out what is causing this issue. Any suggestions at all would be welcome. One last thing I wanted to add some context to the images included. Pic(3) at the bottom has been pulled from google search to show normal gameplay, and it is good for comparison if not for the fact that the super is not fully charged showing yellow. The images at the top are stills of my real-time issue. Pic(1) top shows that red flash when depressing L1 for grenades and below Pic(2) is my Super fully charged. The top horizontal line above specials is usually yellow at this point. Think that's everything and if you did manage to make it through my attempt to cover all the bases in my description thank you.
