In case you missed it though:   Q: What will happen to the progress I’ve made on the Stadia Pro games if I cancel my subscription?  A: If you decide to re-subscribe to Stadia Pro, you will regain access to your previously claimed games, as well as retain your progress for those games. Additionally, if you decide to buy one of your previously claimed Stadia Pro games a la carte in the Stadia store, you will regain access to all of your saved data and progress. Your saved progress is safe!
No iPhone or iPad support makes me a sad panda.

@Nightcrow  Yeah I should've mentioned but I saw that bit about you finishing that session and then just being able to start another one. I don't get why the system would boot me out after 6 hours if it knows I'm still playing, only to have me start it right back up again. In the end it isn't a massive deal but it is exactly the kind of small inconvenience that'd have me just choose the Stadia option instead. Not saying I'll never try it but I would certainly put much more consideration into it before handing over any money.
@Nilse I actually like the Stadia controller more than my Dualshock 4 tbh and it feels solid AF. I'm a fan of that controller and have used it a TON since launch.

A video I watched on YouTube said the paid version of GFN limited the playing session to 6 hours. If that is accurate then I'm not interested. The free version of it is DOA to me as it is limited to 1 hour per session. That said there's definitely things about the service that from the look of it seem pretty great but this limited session stuff is a complete turn off for me.

@Xeviosoit seems that publishers are going with the same pricing model as consoles based off the Darksiders Genesis release.  I'm not sure what you'd want Google to do here and not sure what you mean about it seeming like they're not partnering with Google. The pricing has zero to do with Google. I can remember complaining years ago on the Playstation blog about game pricing and one of the community reps there replying to myself and others that they give their own feedback on pricing to the publishers but even there Sony had zero say in the pricing, it is the publishers and publishers only deciding price. Any criticism of Google over the regular pricing of games is horrible misplaced and quite frankly unfair.
@Chufu @I did that at the same time as posting but good call

So I dunno if this has been posted before (searching didn't yield any results) but how is it that Google, a company based on Search has no search option to search for a game within the Stadia app? I gotta assume this is on John Justice's fabled whiteboard but it strikes me as crazy this isn't already in there.

@Mad_Dog_Bravo Darksiders release is meant to be today. When I googled it a couple weeks ago it came up with December 5th for Steam and Stadia. Not available to buy on Stadia yet but I could grab it off Steam right now if I wanted. I think both Google and the publisher have missed a trick here because I want the game on Stadia, today is my day off as it happens and I'd be sitting playing it right now but there wasn't even a pre-order option which genuinely disappoints me.
@Radium Having like a digital wallet the likes of the one on PSN that you can redeem codes from gift cards to add to that would be a great addition.

You do understand that pricing is not solely Google's discretion, right? The publishers of the games have a MAJOR and pretty much the final say on how much they are in order to allow their games on the platform. Prices being in line with other digital stores, outside of whatever sales each one might run with is not something you can reasonably complain about.
Are you guys going to put upcoming releases on the store for pre-order at any point? I believe Darksiders releases tomorrow but there's no trace of it on the store yet.
@SecretCode @I don’t think Pro odd supposed to be like or compete with gamepass, it’s more akin to PlayStation Plus. Very different models.
They’ve said previously this is also the Black Friday sale. There is no additional sale, the deals available were announced as such. See here.

They didn't say that at all. It's been very clear for months that the only game we were getting access to with Pro was Destiny 2. They didn't lie on this point even remotely.

You’re not serious here surely? There’s no messaging that’s ever come from Google or the Stadia team suggesting you were going to get any game for free other than Destiny 2 The Collection which by the way is only partially free on other platforms. You have to buy Shadowkeep on all other platforms. You’re coming across as quite unreasonable and entitled. At best you’ve badly misunderstood what you’ve been reading.

Try downloading an Android emulator like bluestacks, install the Stadia app there and do what you need to. Either that or borrow someone's Android or iPhone to get it done real quick. Best option is to get on upgrading that phone though, you’re severely hamstrung without quick use of the app as you won’t be able to even buy a game or claim your Pro games.
