Regarding Trials, can you give us a way to eliminate that game as it's listed among our achievements after the trial is up/over? For example, I played the Riders Republic trial, and then went on to purchase the game.  But now when I scroll down amongst my achievements, I see a listing for the RR trial, even though there was nothing to earn. It's just sitting there - help us get rid of it!

Hi James, I mean, I haven't vigorously tested this in the last week to see if it's changed because I haven't read about any specific fixes. As far as I know the issue is still out there.  Plugging in a headset and expecting people to hear you feels like a random affair.  My expectation in reporting it was that Google would validate and fix it. Your last message mentioned moving forward, and now suddenly you're talking about closing the thread. Where's the fix?

Hi James, thanks for looking into this. My title is wrong - the issue is indeed on the CCwGTV, where I have the Stadia app natively installed. I can't vouch for the issue on Android TV. But on the CCwGTV, this mic issue is prevalent and frustrating because it's so inconsistent. Unless you do a full restart of the CCwGTV and Stadia controllers, you never know if your audio will be hear. Headset and Mic is a Microsoft Surface Headphones 2, but the same issue happens with a Wired Xbox Headset, so it's not an issue unique to headsets in my experience. Thx.

I know! It's super frustrating, and while you can find similar reports across multiple message boards, Stadia has not posted any solution. The problem manifests across different games, so it's not just any game. I've experienced it in Division 2, Destiny and RDR.  It's not on Chrome, but only on CCwGTV via the app.  I find I can only get it to reliably work after resetting everything, but then 1 or 2 sessions later, it stops working. Not sure what changed in the interim. Stadia please look into this.

James, I appreciate the response but you haven't read the actual issue. I get that voice chat is not available on headset+TV when that is a bluetooth headset. This problem is not about bluetooth headsets. It's about wired headsets that, once jacked into the controller, fail to register when you load a session on Stadia.  Sometimes it works, then sometimes it doesn't. The Mic says it's muted, or alternatively it says the mic is plugged in, but nobody can hear you. Short of unlinking a controller every time and restarting my entire CCwGTV, I can't get it to reliably function. It's a MAJOR pain in the rear.

I assume you mean you connect via Bluetooth to your computer - but would that work when I'm playing via the app on the TV? I guess part of the frustration is that it DOES work sometimes. I once factory reset the controller, and then the mic worked. But a few game sessions later, it just stopped. I'm certain I'm not the only one on these forums - I believe there is a persistent bug where plugged in mics are just simply not recognized. No official response/help from Google.
Thanks for following up. There is a mute option on the cords, which I toggle but that doesn't help. I hit the assistant button on the controller, and that doesn't open up the mic either. I got it to ... See more...
Thanks for following up. There is a mute option on the cords, which I toggle but that doesn't help. I hit the assistant button on the controller, and that doesn't open up the mic either. I got it to work one time after factory resetting and relinking the controller, and I thought it was set. Then boom, very next time I played, didn't work. It's maddening.
Thanks for this - mic isn't detected on any setting. My friends and I all switch to party/game at the same time, but nobody can hear me on either.
My CCwGTV app permissions allow for Mic but still not detected. Any other ideas?

Per subject line, I've seen a lot of people posting about microphone issues, and then a Google rep or helper jumps in and says it's solved without explaining how. The issue is simple: I'm running the Stadia app on the Google TV platform. I turn on my controller, plug in a headset via the 3.5mm, and I can hear audio AND other players talking. They cannot hear me. The stadia popup says that my headset is plugged in and my mic is on. But that's clearly not the case, nobody can hear me. The game is not picking up any mic audio. ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated.    Thanks,
