Thanks for the response! Actually both players were Stadia players. One of them was in my clan.

Am I doing something wrong? I want to find/create a fireteam for a nightfall strike. I can't seem to make it work. I posted this to bungie.net, no reply so far... I'm a stadia user. When I log into bungie.net through my stadia account, and create a fireteam. I cannot chat with other members, and when they join my team, they do not show up in my fireteam list in the game. Also I have an error message on my name in the fireteam list online that says something to the effect that bungie could not find my destiny account. Here is the message: [Could not find Destiny Character Information]
Hey look for another post about a "dead controller".   I had this problem.  Try holding the button down for 8-12 seconds, and then try powering it up after that.

So someone at Google shared this info with me.  My controller is working now!     Procedure to reset: 1) Charge controller for at least 30 minutes by plugging it into the charger that came with the bundle. (Sounds like you've already done that.) 2) Unplug controller from everything (USB, headset) 3) Press and hold the Stadia button for more than 8 seconds, I usually count to ~12 to be on the safe side. Don't let go of the button until the time is up, no matter what the controller does. 5) Let go of the Stadia button 5) Press the Stadia button for >1 sec. to power it on. 6) If the controller turns on - yay! Game on 7) If the controller doesn't turn on - try the same procedure from step 2 again once or twice. If still not successful, continue working with customer service for a replacement device.

I have (had) 2 controllers and both of them have this issue playing any game on Stadia.  These seems to indicate the problem is with the router.  I have a router that is less than 1 year old, and is considered a gaming router.  (Not cheap.)  It is basically less than 10 feet away through a wall. My network is set to auto-select 2Ghz/5Ghz, I have not tried changing that, but that is my first thought.  I have not contacted support about this yet, and have not tried any trouble shooting on my router.   There are times when this is REALLY bad, and other times it is flawless.  It seems to be at its worst when I start a gaming session, and then gets better throughout.   It is extremely frustrating when you are about to pick up your loot from a team event on D2!!!

I am really concerned to read this. This happened to my controller as well. Let's hope we all have controllers that were manufactured the same day/hour and this was some dumb fluke. I contacted support via Chat and they are taking care of me. I suggest you do the same. I had purchased 2 controllers. I hope this isn't widespread. By the way. My experience was exactly the same as yours, only I think I got many more hours of play time from mine before it died. I plugged it in one night, got the orange charging light and left it be. The next morning, the light was off. I unplugged it and tried to turn it on. Nothing! It is bricked.
I actually got an answer from Google support.  The answer is:  Once an account has Stadia Pro it CANNOT be added to another account's family plan.  So if anyone is thinking about this... don't do it!... See more...

You can use it for 2 player games. (NBA, Fighting...)

I have a family member who will eventually be part of my family plan on Stadia when Google makes that available. This person wants to start playing Stadia on his account now, and might be willing to buy another Stadia Pro package to do so. If he were to purchase a Stadia Pro package today, will I later be able to add him to my Stadia family plan? As a side note, it is really frustrating that we can't do this yet!

My last session was okay, but in previous sessions both controllers that I own, randomly disconnect from Stadia frequently. It was so bad this morning, that every time I reconnected it, it would immediately disconnect. This was true of BOTH controllers which were over 50% charged. Everything else on my wifi network was operating normally. I can't seem to identify any conditions in which this happens. As of right now, it appears to be random.
