"Installing" basically just creates a shortcut to the website, but fancier. Supposedly it makes the webapp available offline, but that doesn't really go up for Stadia as it's cloud gaming, so you need internet. It doesn't really run any better in the webapp, so it's not necessary to install.

Kinda sounds like GFN (or maybe ShadowPC) would be a better choice for you. I don't see Stadia getting a Steam intergration because it is a separate ecosystem, much like Xbox and PlayStation. You can'...
