I haven't been a "gamer" since my first kid was born over 11 yrs ago. I have never even seen Destiny 1 let alone Destiny 2. Last time I played a Bungie game was Halo 2. Haha. Have no concept of how it's come along or what Bungie has worked on since then. That being said, to me, this setup is pretty impressive. I wouldn't have bought Destiny 2. I wouldn't have bothered putting it on my super robust computer that I use for video editing. I just played Destiny 2 for about 2 hours and it was really fun. I don't have a headset but did a mission with 2 other players. Seemed really in sync and I was on 5Ghz wireless. It was pretty entertaining. I could see how real gamers wouldn't bother with Stadia. I think I'm going to like the portability when I head off on my daughter's travel hockey tournament (IF it works on the hotel WiFi - I know, I know... tall order but I'm going to try anyway). However I am pretty disappointed that you have to BUY the games IN ADDITION TO paying a monthly fee. That's crap. Paying full price for the game is salt in that crappy wound too. 4k gaming? Like 3D and/or curved TV's, shakey action movies, and home brewed beer, I could care less. More feature hype that really doesn't entertain me any more, or any less. I'm ok with casual gaming on my non-4K HDTV. It's not the same for everyone, I get that. For me though, it works - for now. We'll see where this goes. Good thing they threw that "3 months of Pro Free" in though. I'm pretty sure I'm not interested in $9.99/mo. for casually gaming 2 games a handful of times in any given month. Casual gamers or not, Google really needs to come out swinging harder than this. It's just sad what they're offering "founders." LOL.
