Cause those are 2 different business. They want to focus on the technology and the idea of Cloud Gaming and not losing time and money on having a Game Developing company/team. I don't know why so much people think this is bad... i think its good. Now they can focus on the platform/service itself and help other dev companies to port/create games for Stadia.
At the moment they use Nvidia GPUs. Problably titan models as 1080ti will be to slow and as we dont have Ray Tracing support i guess they dont use RTX Series. I hope they migrate to 3090 as its the ...
