Stadia was released a nearly a month ago but games library was released many months ago. All that games on PC are way less expensive, Google should consider that. For now, according to the prices and the lack of visibility, I won't buy any more games. It is quite a shame as I really enjoy Stadia and the technology behind. But as a player, game prices are a real concern for me.

@BJWN This is one of my main concern about the lack of games for now. I bought TR1 and it got free one week later. I asked a refund and it was granted /(be praised Google support team). Then I bought RDR2 because there is few chances to see it offered on the pro games next month. But for now I am waiting and I does not see me buying any more games. This is quite odd.

The recent release of Darksiders Genesis combined with the end of BlackFriday sales make me wondering what is the strategy behind Stadia. Do Google want to compete with Sony and Microsoft ? In this case the pricing model is good in a classical console battle but might not be enough vs a Xcloud/Netflix. Or do Google plan to take a position toward Steam/Epic/Gog and other PC store ? In this case, selling a game 10 to 15$ more than settled store is quite odd. Moreover, Pro offers were supposed to bring regular discounts in the store. But as it looks now, it seems more that Pro offer might just be traditional sales like those on Steam. Which also makes me asking myself what will be Stadia base model of pricing to attracted people... I also keep in mind the advantage to get free games every month. Which is a strong good addition to the pro service. Anyway a word from Google in upcoming events/stream would be appreciated in order to clearly understand the direction of Stadia model. Cheers !

@brunocalmon Thanks for your link. The main trouble here is that : PC version is less expensive toward consoles (both physical support). As a "non"-physical service it makes more sense to follow Steam pricing. Moreover Stadia a junior competitor and needs to be more "agressive" to capture some new players. The fact that there is no Pro deal this week + the "console" kind of pricing is very disappointing to me. I was considering to buy the game, but 25€/29€ on Steam compared to 40$ on Stadia ... my choice is easy.
Darksiders Genesis is 29,99 € full priced on steam. In pre-order there is a -15% discount. Could you confirm the price on Stadia is 39,99 € ? Why is there such a difference ?

I already supported Stadia : as a founder. And by paying full price RDR2. What I am expecting also is a clearer communication and good advertising/marketing. I do not need to be convinced, I trust the Stadia tech. But to the eyes of non-believers (I.e most of the gaming websites, reviewers, & YouTubers) non clear communication and odd strategy could give them arguments against Stadia. I do not want that and I want Google to succeed. But improvements would be a nice move to me. Edit : at least Google is doing a good move toward users : " 3:09PM PST We know that some users have recently purchased these two games for their collection. Because of the proximity between the launch of the platform, and the announcement of these titles in Stadia Pro, we are happy to assist you if you'd like to request a refund if you have purchased either or both of these titles, even if it's outside of our normal policy. -ChrisFromGoogle & the Stadia Team"

Hello folks ! I am a happy founder, i love the tech behind Stadia, it feels very promising. But on the other hands, i have some issues with communication about games offered as stadia pro subscription : As there is a limited amount of games and that pro games are offered on regular basis It meens that is it very likely that games we just bought, will be offered the month after ... Bests examples Tomb Raider and Farming Simulator. I managed to got a refund for TR but stadia saleforces might consider to avoir such things. Is there a chance that we got a roadmap of upcoming games within months to come ? Is there a chance to know which games are candidate to be part of a pro game pool vs games that will not be offered ? It will surely avoid people to hesitate before buying stuff ... For now, i bought RDR2 (enjoying it) but i am not sure to buy more games such as Metro Exodus or Assassin's Creed as there is a high chance they will be part of next pro free games !

First of all : delivery/code quite a mess to be honest but I was lucky to get through. Code ok after 5h post launch time, shipped the 19th, delivery is tomorrow in France. (Ordered the 6th June). Configuration : super fast (but pay attention you need a credit card) : it took me 5-8 min. The gaming part : tested Chrome only on my PC. Tried XBox One pad on Samurai and Keyboard/Mouse for D2. The good : no perceptible lag, I could do special moves every time in Samurai. On D2 it feels very responsive. I have to double check collisions to some walls tonight. The just less good : no 4k, some aliasing from time to time and in dark/foggy area some codec/visuals compression visible. But so far so good this is very impressive. I have the feeling to see the future of gaming. My connection : optic fiber 400/400 Mbps in Paris. No data cap. So I think quite ideal situation as I am near Google backbone access to a 100km distant data center.
