After calling my isp for the third time, they finally found the source of the problem, and now stadia is buttery smooth again. Thanks everyone!

I still haven't figured it out, had a one hour chat with someone at Google but she wasn't able to help me..and yes I have access to qos settings.

I own a redmi note 9 pro, and I used it to play on Stadia for at least two months without problems. It's because of how satisfied I was with the service that I chose to buy a new TV just for that. Every device uses 5ghz. I tried everything, opening ports, restarting the router, resetting it at different times of day, resetting both chromecast and controller to factory settings, and now the GeForce Now test (flawless gameplay). I don't think it's an isp issue at this point.
I usually play on chromecast, but the problem remains on my phone, and I already tried the Google dns
Thanks, I'll try it once I get back from work Edit: GeForce now is smooth as silk

Hmm nope, nothing about my network has changed, this just happened all of a sudden. I'm playing on Chromecast mostly, and on my phone sometimes (the lag spikes happen on both devices with regular hiccups every 10 seconds, even on stuff like Hotline Miami). I'm unable to test the ethernet option because our router is in the apartment next to mine, but I used to play just fine on wifi for 2/3 months straight, with no input lag or any other problem whatsoever. I tried changing some settings I found around the forums and also resetting the router to factory defaults but none of that helped... all settings in the home app are untouched. I just don't know what to do anymore, it's either a problem on Stadia's servers in my area, or maybe my isp.
Thank you very much! I'll try to contact them and then report here.

Hello,  I'm having lag spikes every 10 seconds since a week ago in every moment of the day (it was perfect before that). Tried changing channel on my router and opening tcp / upd ports to no avail. Every game just stops for a moment every 10 seconds (bad resolution and Stadia controller stops responding). This occurs with 720p/1080p. It's very irritating and I'm running out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
