@Deadline For starters, I just stumbled on this post yesterday. To me this post is new, and I just thought your behaviour in your replies was childish, arrogant and unreasonable. And since we both live in free countries and I'm not breaking the law or the terms of this Stadia community forum, I'm free to react to whatever I feel like reacting to, thank you very much. I just wanted to point out, like @Ivan and @justduke tried before me, that you were overreacting. Because from your reactions to them it is clear you think you did nothing wrong. For whatever reason I felt I owe it to you to confront you about this, and to Ivan to make it clear he did absolutely nothing wrong. Let me put this straight: there is no unwritten rule or etiquette that says that you shouldn't posts someone else's LFG Discord server in a post that is advertising their own. Especially in the context @Ivan did here. We're all just trying to find people to play a game we love. The more the merrier. He just suggested you check it out because maybe having a bigger group makes it even easier to find people instead of having to check out different Servers Your first reaction was to say he's hijacking your post (that's not even a thing on this community... there's only a couple of topics a day at most so he'd get more visibility by creating a new topic), berating him for even suggesting a merger, and requesting he delete his post. It's about the most obnoxious, arrogant and toxic reaction I've ever seen, and anybody thinking that's okay (including the four mates you asked to Kudo it for you yesterday) just doesn't understand basic respectful behaviour and really needs a reality check. Your Walmart comparison doesn't make any sense either. You're not trying to sell a product. There is no sense in competition between LFG communities. I'm not saying It's bad to have multiple communities, but you shouldn't scoff at people suggesting a merger because in the end a bigger LFG group is in the best interest of the members. Having a bigger player pool increases the chances of finding other players wanting to do the same thing, especially with a small player base like Stadia. That's not an opinion, it's basic math. The most fun and wholesome LFG community I'm part of is a merger of a whole bunch of Dutch clans, and we continually invite other Dutch clans to join us because the more we increase our pool of players the easier it is to find a Dutch-speaking fireteam for a raid. This is the core use of an LFG community (maybe not for you, but for most members it is). If this is not what you want, then you shouldn't have used the term LFG. I totally understand and respect you not wanting to merge to protect the identity and maintain full control over your community, but then just be honest about that and don't ridicule someone's suggestion. The guy even apologised once again, explained his point of view, and said he understands and respects your opinion. The least you could do is apologise to him for misunderstanding. The way you deal with my post is also telling. You kicked me from your Server without notice. You start out your post trying to ridicule me, shaming me for replying to an old post and telling me to let it go, as if I've personally been invested in this for the past two months... No. I just saw this post yesterday when Googling for a Destiny 2 Stadia LFG. And after this reply I'm just gonna walk away with a clear conscience. Then you get all high and mighty, calling _my_ behaviour toxic and insinuating they wouldn't tolerate _my_ behaviour. Could please tell me what part of my behaviour it is they wouldn't tolerate? Calling you out on _your_ toxic behaviour? A community where nobody is allowed to disagree with the leadership doesn't feel like a very wholesome place to me. Kinda feels like a dictatorship. If anything, I'm doing you a favour. Your mates might not call you out or your behaviour, either because they're like you, or your friends, or just afraid to confront you. It could also very well be you've already dismissed all the people that would've confronted you (like me) because your ego simply outweighs your reason. If that's the case, well, good luck in your echo chamber.
