But at the moment Stadia Base isn't released, so the OP would lose access to the games until they do release the non-subscription version. At least that's how I understand it works currently

I'm nearing the end of this game and have enjoyed my time. It teaches you everything as you go, but you have to pay attention to small indicators or hints on screen. They are also repeated on the loading screens in case you miss them. Other than that, a quiet area and trial and error works quite well for some of the mechanics. Enjoy your adventure
Yes, the last time games wer released it wasn't until 5pm In the UK
@Jambru Hi I think last time it was about 5pm UK time which is 9am Eastern US Time when the games became available
The achievements aren't in the UK yet. Still showing as coming soon
@Firestorm457 a little of topic, but it's the stream connect working ok for you? Is it smooth and activated all the time or do you choose when it's on?

Do you own a Google pixel? If you do there's a USB A to USB C adapter in the box (it was supplied to help transfer phone data from your old device). I've been using it to allow me to play on my phone without having to buy a new USB C to C cable. You could try it and see what happens. The controller wouldn't recognise it for play purposes as the adapter needs to be at the phone end for it to work. Be sure to post back once you've given it a go, in sure more people will be interested in the results as well.
@Masterkicker just in case you missed it, Dragonball Xenoverse 2 is it now in the stadia store
@Xevioso it looks as though they may have decided that the games schedule will be the first of the month as evidenced by the recent releases. We're all still learning about Stadia as we go

@ChubbiesLover did the USB C to USB C cable come with the controller. I'm wondering if I'm missing a cable as I only got a USB A to USB C for the charging brick in the box.
Any chance of Shenmue III Or ports of the old games would be cool too. I'll just wait to see what they provide us with.
I don't think so. I think it just helps friends confirm that they have the right person when looking for you if you quote your number as well.
All stadia users apart from founders will have a number as part of their Stadia name.
I'm guessing it's missing a Chromecast Ultra that has Stadia firmware on it?
Codemasters are working on a fix they hope to release by the end of the week. I'm waiting to see as I'm really interested in buying it, but won't while I can't play the main game

Am I in the minority here? I haven't been part of console gaming for the last few years as I traded in a PS4 for a switch because of the exclusives and Nintendo's original franchises.   I am happy with the selection of games available on Stadia but can see why people would be annoyed if they've had Xbox and then Xbox One and bought all the latest AAA titles. For me however it's more long term opportunities to never need to buy another console but get up to 4K gaming at a fraction of the cost of a new console setup. I'm really excited to see where it goes, it's not perfect now but all new consoles take time before the true power is unleashed and developers get to grips with the hardware and work out clever tricks to improve performance and push the boundaries. Just look at the difference between first gen and second gen games on the current batch of consoles for examples.   Exciting times, glad I'm helping contribute towards the next big thing.

In the Reddit AMA the lead designer of stadia reiterated that Stadia users will have access to their games they've bought even if the platform is shut down. Although didn't specify how this would work... There's a bit of a gamble but I like most on here I haven't been part of console gaming for years after trading in a PS4 for a switch. So all these games are titles I have yet to play and do t already own, so I too am happy at the moment and think it will only get better as to e goes on. I played Tomb Raider last night and again it seemed to work brilliantly even though I only have about 30gb internet speed
I was a couple of days late. I wanted something to do with my surname so ended up with TheJudgeUK. It may grow on me, but I'm not thrilled tbh.
