As mentioned in my DM, we've restricted the name change functionality for various reasons. Therefore, the name users choose upon signing up for the Stadia Community Forum will remain your username going forward. As you can see, I've addressed your request, and your forum name has now been changed to your preferred username. Also, I explained in my DM that the Stadia Community Forum follows the Stadia Terms of Service and Privacy policies. We do not have a separate set of policies for this community, and I'm working to get those links updated on the sign-in page.  Regarding  your experience with our support team, I'm so sorry for the confusion. There may have been a misunderstanding on the Stadia support team's side, and I'm addressing the matter as we speak.  This community forum is run by the Stadia Community team, and if you have feedback regarding this community, you're more than welcome to post those notes here.

Hi everyone, Previously, resolution settings were controlled through the Stadia App, but applied to all of your devices. With this update, we're introducing the ability to control your resolution directly on each device you use to play. In other words, the Stadia app will no longer control the resolution for all your devices and instead only controls the resolution for that particular device. This change will give you more control over how much data you are using on the different devices. Changing your resolution on a Chromecast Ultra device Open the Stadia menu by pressing the Stadia button on your controller Choose Options > Performance Choose the maximum resolution you’d like to set for this device. It will take effect the next time you play a game on your device. Changing your resolution on Web Navigate to stadia.com using Google Chrome In the top right, tap your avatar > Stadia Settings Select Performance from the sidebar Choose the maximum resolution you’d like to set for this device Changing your resolution on mobile On your mobile device, open the Stadia app In the top right, tap your avatar Select Performance Choose the maximum resolution you’d like to set for this device You can learn more about these changes by visiting the Stadia Help Center.

Last Updated October 2021 -------------- Hi everyone,  We’d like to introduce the following policies to help keep the Community Forum a place for accurate, appropriate, and helpful discussions about Stadia. These rules, along with Google’s Help Communities Content Policy, apply to everyone using the forums. 1. Additionally, titles used to bait users to click it is a low-effort way to get someone to view the post. Titles that are used to mislead or cause clicks will be removed at moderator discretion. Hey everybody, We’re back with a bit of a meta-update. There has been a little confusion about where to find certain pieces of information, so we’re here to clear that up. Here are the places you can go for news on Stadia: Stadia Community Blog -- This blog is home to This Week on Stadia along with occasional product updates or fun pieces from the Stadia Team. As a reminder, This Week on Stadia is a series for Stadia-related updates (e.g., Stadia Pro deals) that we’ll aim to post every week, usually on Tuesdays. The Keyword -- This blog hosts the monthly Stadia Savepoint series, which focuses on providing a recap of all the happenings at Stadia over the last month, along with other big-picture updates. Community Forum and Reddit -- Best place for discussions and insights from other gamers.   We also publish updates as they happen to our Twitter and Facebook pages. We’ll be actively working with our developer and publisher partners case-by-case on the best way to share the news about new games. In other words, you might sometimes see game announcements happen on their channels and sometimes on ours. Outside of game announcements, things like game-specific updates, issues, and outage reports will come from our partners. You can find patch notes for your favorite Stadia games on our partners’ official channels, as well. As always, we’re here to listen, so if you have any questions or feedback for us, please feel free to leave a comment below or to file feedback through the Stadia app. Thanks for tuning in! ------ The Stadia Community Team
