@LycraLover79 I always use Stadia+ Extension on Chrome to force 4K resolution on my Dell 25" of 1440p. You will get noticiable better quality from higher bitrate. Give it a go!

1. Yes, it's detected on Steam but I haven't played any games as I don't have any that support gamepad, but it does show on the Steam app. 2. It's simply detected as a compliant HID controller so it will work in the same way other controllers do. 3. Yes, if the controller is plugged with USB and you connect the jack Windows will show the audio device and play whatever your PC plays. 4. I don't understand what you mean with this, sorry.
Thanks @Northlight
I've contacted google and got a free controller, but not the founders edition though. I will try to open it and fix it on my own as described on the previous link.
No, it doesn´t have gyro.
Any feedback on this? Does it scratch the phone? Is it comfortable to hold with the phone? I actually printed one in 3D for 5 EUR.

Since day 1 from time to time my remote seems to get stuck pressing the R2 button, not physically but just the response. I will try to record a video next time but basically everything else works but in Destiny it keeps aiming all the time, same with Tomb Raider or Gylt, and it´s very annoying. Even shutting down stadia and the remote doesn't work, but eventually starts working after a few hours. Has anyone else experienced something similar?
Then I'm afraid you need to check with your Internet provided, nothing Google can help with here.
@Pearly what's your lantency when you do a speed test? Internet speeds are almost irrelevant in Stadia.
You have the latest tom raider discounted until 24th december

@GraceFromGoogle could you plase make the team aware of what is explained below? https://www.reddit.com/r/Stadia/comments/e9g65l/bandwidth_latency_cpu_performance_analysis/ Bitrate is very low in dark scenes and we are getting really bad quality unnecessarily - and loads of bad reviews too! Data usage options are useless for this and we need more granular options to lock bitrate etc. You are getting a lot of bollocking from internet and this is only a very easy setting to change. Thank you!
If your details are correct you internet is not that great unfortunately, 25ms latency is quite high for stadia but it should be ok if you use gamepad. Check this for more info, there is a lot of us... See more...

For me it's all working fine in London with a 38MB/s connection stable. Chromecast doesn't reach 4K though, I think Google lied miserably as 1080p is capped at 3.5MBs and 4K capped at 5.6MBs, which is not quite we saw in all speeds recommendations from Stadia. EDIT: I wanted to add that my PC monitor (Dell U2518H) at 1440p Chrome looks incredibly better than Chromecast (both wired), by far. Seems that it´s the upscaling or something but it stutters as hell and there is a lot of sudden pixelation.
I think I found the issue, it's because I am using bluetooth headphones, playing with wired or the TV/PC speakers don't cause any issues, it's weird because it's the only game that creates this issue... See more...
I think I found the issue, it's because I am using bluetooth headphones, playing with wired or the TV/PC speakers don't cause any issues, it's weird because it's the only game that creates this issue for me.  Anyway, I finished the game... mechanics are quite simple but story is quite good - sometimes depressing though. Good game overall.
Hi all, I´m playing Gylt and I have quite a lot of audio stuttering with Gylt, it´s definitely a game problem as I don´t have this issue with any other game, and actually it seems it´s only the music ... See more...

That's correct, on Chrome data is capped 3.5MB/s (and 1.25MB/s at lowest quality) but you don't really need more as that's 12.6 GB of data per hour. Think about that in movies, not even a 4K movie in Netflix takes that bandwidth - it actually takes less than half of that! I have done several tests in different connections and the video quality is perfect, even if you had 10MB/s you wouldn't see any difference at all if resolution is restricted to 1080p. However there is a big caveat, there is a huge difference on having that 3.5MB/s with HDR or without, specially on dark games like metro, to the point that it looks horrible and the macro-blocks on dark scenes are terrible. I wouldn't be bothered about that cap honestly, I want to check if the 4K makes a difference actually as if a game runs a 1080p natively - and not many games run at higher than 1080p I think: you shouldn't see any difference between playing in a browser or a chromecast in the same 4k monitor as chrome should upscale to your monitor resolution.
Where did you get that information from? If that' is true that's a bit of a *uck up I think. However I guess 100mbps is still more than necessary.
