Yeah... I've tried that too. It helps with the visibility sometimes, but it also washes out a lot of things too. Thank you so much, though. I very much appreciate the effort

Thank you so much for the suggestion. Unfortunately, starting the game on my phone did not give me the option to choose the initial brightness settings again. However, I was mid-story and did not want to lose my progress by trying 'new game'. FWIW, I tried it on my chromebook too. Neither gave me the option to fix the issue. They really need to allow us the option to uninstall/reset original games.

I've already done the 'in-game' brightness. It's as high as it will go and it's still not helping. The Initial load gives a test screen to 'adjust the brightness until you can barely see the creature' and I took those instructions way too literally. So, I am looking for a way to reset that feature to not be 'near black'.
In the initial game set up, there was a brightness slider and I clearly went too dark! I've tried adjusting the in-game brightness and it's not helping much. Is there a way to reset this?

If you want to join Stadia but don't have a bank account or credit card, CashApp will let you CREATE a usable cash card. And it's usable right away, you don't have to wait for it to come in the mail. So, if you have a google family member who doesn't have their own Stadia account yet (i.e. long-distance partners, etc.) Or a special needs adult who has to go through a million miles of red tape to see their own disability money? This is an awesome workaround.
