Okay, for all Google Developers out there, SERIOUS question & to be clear I am not trying to be down on Stadia (I actually love Stadia). Why does Nvidia GFN now stream (over a Chrome browser no less) at 1440p resolution @120fps while Stadia can't? I understand bitrates and resolution are tied together but what gives? This is Googles own pipe line I'm talking about here. This seems like an obvious (easy) upgrade, what am I missing? Clearly, the technology is in place and it works awesome, so again what's up with that?

I am currently using a Nvidia shield to stream Stadia. I did another factory reset this morning & I did a reboot of my system. I just have to wait and see.    I use this particular controller for this specific unit. I do have others in my home but I don't cross them. This is the only controller that is problematic.  I can wait.

Good morning, I'm have an issue with my Stadia controller. It started about a week or so ago with my controller randomly disconnecting from the stadia app. This occurred 2 times. Then aging a few days later. Yesterday, for the 1st time it shut down entirely. This morning it disconnected but when I linked the controller via the input code my button configuration was not correct, up on the directional pad = the A button. The X button = the Stadia S button. It was very off configuration. I did perform a reset on the controller (factory) but the problem started again within a day of reset. What options do I have?   This message was copied from my Twitter feed. I figured I would also see if anyone in the community had a similar experience with a possible solution.

Hello, I almost forgot about this posting but I was able to connect my son's account to mine with a little maneuvering.  To make it work I ended up erasing his account altogether and creating a new one with my information. Once I did this I was able to perform the link. Afterwards I changed the profile to his information which then triggered Stadia's content ratings to change too!  This worked infinitely better than my other attempts. I know it's not how it's to be done but I got there.  Thanks!

I am looking for assistance with setting up a Stadia family account on my CCU if possible. I am looking to link an account I created for my kids to my existing account. I did create a Google email account for them specifically with a Stadia account. I am the manager for these accounts. According to the instructions I found I am at the point where you would use the Google family link app to tie everything together. This is where I am having a problem.  I receive messages that I cannot link the account. I tried to access the account through the intended CCU but it will not allow me to add another account. I even tried using the Google Home app to add to my group with no success.  At this stage I am very confused as to what I should be doing. I am reaching out to anyone who has done this already for help. I attempted to reach out to the Stadia team on their Twitter account but its been almost a week since that time.  Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I use my Stadia controller when I'm playing on the Stadia app & my Playstation Controller when I'm on Geforce Now. Honestly, I wish I could use the Stadia controller for both. Google needs to make a blue tooth controller.  Aside from that, Stadia works extremely well on my Shield. I play a lot of Destiny 2 crucible and the difference between the two devices is noticeable. I just wish I knew why.

My question, not in any way meant to trigger people, is Stadia's performance on my Nvidia Shield is better than on my CCU does anyone know why that is?  Some context here, my internet is Verizon Fios. My ping is roughly 3-10ms & I'm on a Gigabit connection. My Stadia works just fine on my CCU & other devices I play on. I recently purchased a Nvidia Shield to replace my CCU, mostly for the AI upscaling but also because I can use my Geforce Now account & Stadia on the same device. What I noticed when using Stadia on my Nvidia Shield is that my gameplay was more responsive and appeared to be faster overall. I honestly don't know if there is a hardware component to factor in Stadia's CCU or if Nvidia's platform responds differently. All I can say right now is that my gameplay is cleaner & faster than before. If anyone knows why, I would love to hear it.

Thanks for the advice! I originally played on Playstation and was overly confident in knowing what to do...  Now I play on Stadia with a Stadia controller and as it turns out holding the 3 dots on the controller will turn you rogue.  Thanks again!
I have a silly question about how to go rogue & it's what button(s) do I hold to actually go rogue?
Thanks for information, I just dropped a link into the feedback section too!
I posted on Twitter already!

Hello Stadia dev team, Periodically, I like to chime in with things I see in game or comment on the platform but today I have recommendations I would like for you to consider. Firstly, I love the platform. It performs beautifully with almost no noticeable flaws. With that I do see room for improvement. Stadia is advertised as 4K 60 Fps capable, I am not going to argue that but this is also a little misleading. Some games are just not brought to the platform with these capabilities. This leads me to suggestions 1,2, & 3. 1. Add a 4K symbol to the corresponding games that actual support it right on the main page or where you can select a game.  2. Add a FPS counter in the sub-menu while in-game, maybe next to the settings symbol. This absolutely cannot hurt anyone.  3. Add a resolution capability symbol (right next to my 4K symbol) on the main page. If a game can only run 1080p, 30 Fps put it out there.  These suggestions above are to directly counter the "Stadia is dead" argument and to bring an understanding to the community on Stadia performance versus what a game can actually output. Stadia can and does perform but the 4K 60 Fps advertising that has traditionally been done has landed Stadia in the crosshairs of some pretty ugly reviews, and rightfully so. Its unnecessarily misleading.  My next suggestion is to add in an optimization button for internet. This can save many people a lot of trouble by correcting / indicate to that person they may want to tone back those max graphics settings because they do not have the internet to support it. Or, max it out because your internet is magical. This would also be a good investment in the "Stadia is dead" counter argument. This last is a wee bit more involved, Stadia should incorporate a hardware and OS page somewhere in the menu. This is to identify any build changes that occur and or model CCU a person might be using when something goes wrong. I only bring this up because the Stadia community is sometimes left to sort out their own problems and this information can be helpful in tracking an issue or if a problem is tied to a build or product. So with that, good luck and keep the games coming!

So the title covers my entire problem. In the last week or so upon entering the controller code to start up stadia I get disconnected a moment after the link was successful. This forces me to do it again but after I do it the second time it works fine. Not terrible but also not normal. My second problem is more complicated. While I'm in (seems like any) game I have moments where my ability to control drops out for a few seconds. This was definitely not my game that froze because I was teamed up with others when it happened & they responded very quickly with your character looks fine but I was moving in a very unusual way. If that makes any sense. I'm not sure if anyone else has come across this but if anyone has a tip or solution please make it known.

Just something to consider, your ping is really good but your data (mbps) is on the low end. The speed at which data can travel (ping) is decent for almost any game. Your mbps (the volume of data that travels to you provided by your isp) is on the low side. This is particularly important with games that have a demand for data, ie shooters for example. Fractions of a second matter in games like Destiny as where it doesn't matter as much in puzzle type games.  You might want to bump up your data.
Excellent, looking forward to seeing community feedback results!! Please keep the updates coming!

My controller is connected through wifi. Yesterday I factory reset my CCU & my controller together.  During the set up when instructed to connect the controller I stopped the process and used my controller to open stadia from the screen directly connected to my CCU. When I did this the controller self shut down but after this 1st connection it has been working fine. Audio & all.  I'm not sure why this is but my thoughts were to connect my controller to the most direct link to my wifi without using the phone.  For good measure, I bought spare premiere edition anyway!

Recently, I've been noticing my controller (Stadia) has been doing some weird things like the audio clipping and my buttons getting mixed up (When I press A or X I get the stadia menu to pop up, just weird in general). I have factory reset the controller a few times since noticing these anomalies but the resets are short lived while the problem is becoming more frequent.  With that quick description, is there a way to verify the controller may be on its way out? This is not terribly heart breaking if it was the controller dying as it does have a lot of time on it and I would not be surprised. It's my first stadia controller and I would hate to trash it if I don't have to.
