Well, it's a virtual surround. Windows can't detect it like a 7.1 system.   So I can't have a real 5.1.

I have a headset for the 5.1 - For the sound on PC I just have my motherboard. - For the chromecast, I think my screen need a passthough or something like that. Am I right ? Thanks.

Hello, I have a headphone  I can't get 5.1 on my Stadia games on chrome from Windows. By USB DAC it does not recognize 5.1. Do I have to connect several jacks of my Asus Z87 Extreme4 motherboard?
