Hi all, I've been wanting to play WDL for a while but it used to be unplayable on Stadia at 4k because of what are now well known framerate issues. Back then I had no choice but to refund. Now that it's on sale again I'm thinking of giving it another shot, but I wonder: have those super bad framerate drops that many people experienced while playing in 4k been fixed? Have you been able to get a smooth experience in 4k since it was patched?

The led becomes static, just like it happens when it links successfully on other devices, or on the same device but on the browser version of Stadia.
Yes, it's a Samsung Note 20 Ultra, and it normally works very well with a Stadia controller.

Hi all, I hope you can suggest me some potential solutions. Here's the deal: I installed a wifi repeater in my home, which has both a 2g and a 5g signal. After appropriately setting all my stadia-related stuff (chromecast ultra, controller and phone app) to work with the 5g signal, I found that Stadia runs amazingly both on my pc and my 4k tv, to which I have no problem linking my controller. However... the Stadia app on my phone (Note 20) used to work perfectly and now the controller just won't connect. As in, when resetting the controller with the bluetooth procedure it does get recognized, it syncs with the app on the same wifi network (I tried both 5g and 2g), the app eventually says the controller is ready to go and gives me the code, but the moment I insert the code I get the familiar vibration and static white light from the controller, yet the app stays on the code screen and will act as if there is no controller connected. Needless to say, no controller input will work in game. I tried connecting the controller by opening stadia on phone browser and it works perfectly, just like on my laptop and tv, so it must be the app. Any ideas? Of course I tried to reset everything multiple times, I even reset the wifi repeater itself, restarted the phone, reinstalled the Stadia app. I also have no other wifi signal that may be conflicting. I am honestly out of options.

@ShadowKnight got it, thanks. So the only way to play local multiplayer on chromecast ultra is to buy another stadia controller?
Thanks for your reply @ShadowKnight ! When you say " Do note that using tandem mode both controllers act like one controller." do you mean that is't basically useless for playing local multiplayer?

Hello! I'm trying to figure out if I can play local multiplayer on my chromecast ultra using a stadia controller and a ps4 controller. I found some tutorials online that explain you can open the chromecast menu with the remote, go to the device management menu and simply pair your ps4 controller. The problem is... I got chromecast ultra with Stadia and I don't have a remote I can pair the ps4 controller to my built-in android tv, but Stadia is not available there yet (and there is significant input lag). But I can't seem to access the same menu in my chromecast ultra, neither the Home app nor the Android TV remote app seem to do that (the latter will just ignore my chromecast ultra and just see my built-in android tv). Any suggestion on how I can open the chromecast ultra menu without using a remote I was never provided with in the first place? Because for now, whenever I set the tv to HDMI to see my chromecast ultra, all I get is the main slideshow screen and the possibility to access Stadia with the Stadia controller code, but no menu option whatsoever.
