I should make that a little clearer...it’s an app on the App Store called desktop only browser. Works like Stdaium did - I have both and find this one smoother.
In the last is was available to purchase separately. I wonder if they removed it because they are vaulting a load of the content from 10th November so maybe that makes it unplayable in 2 weeks time?

That’s exactly my point with football matches, yes. Are you sure with computer games? I mean have you actually read the T&Cs that flash up and you accept with a game? I haven’t, so I can’t claim to know, but I would be amazed if there wasn’t such a clause that effectively made it impossible to stream without licence...just never enforced.

I think he is right. The question of whether or not the games industry should or would enforce it is different. I can’t go to a football match and live stream me watching it for example...unless I pay a licence to be the broadcaster. Ultimately if people are making money streaming then the developers who actually make the games are going to want their slice of that pie...

Although personally I found the “Good Stuff” event overall a bit underwhelming...seeing the positives, I played through the Immortals Fenyx Rising demo and found the game to be great fun. I would encourage anyone feeling a bit frustrated with the event to try out the demo (if they haven’t already) and hopefully this will allow you to take away at least one positive from the three days! Now Google, please please please give an update on family sharing and FIFA!!!

I love everything about Stadia except the marketing. I got my two boys (2 & 5) sat on the sofa with me suitably excited about day 1 of ‘good stuff’. My oldest one’s comment at the end of the five minutes was something like “is there more? That wasn’t very good, I don’t want it to be so short”. So much good news in the last week, but this 5 minute event couldn’t even impress a 5 year old. Let’s be honest, it was bad. If I read it in a weekly blog post I’d be happy, but not a week or two build up to a YouTube event...I really hope the next two days reveal some cool features and some demos of some slightly higher quality games. I know people will like Pac-Man, but it’s not exactly a crowd bringer.
