That said, I’ve also been fine with two stadias running on just Wi-fi in parallel with friends. Have you tried reducing the image quality in the app to compensate for you slow internet speeds?

So if you want the $30 discount just order a new set and return your current one for full refund. Cant say I’d bother for $30 but there is a solution which will work if you want it.
The most likely way would be return your stadia for full refund. Buy again at the lower price. Normally works as you’d be in your statutory return period (at least in Europe, not sure with USA).

Looks like some pretty decent games in there. Fifa would still be #1 for me and surprised it doesn’t make the list, but at least half in that list would games I would want.
I’ve got my setting on for receiving updates - I wonder if they send the promotion to anyone who has a CCU with Stadia already loaded....probably makes sense that they wouldn’t!
