Well, here I am sitting with a controller I've had for almost 24 hours and still no code and no messaging form Google. You did finally return my requests for calls but still had no information beyond you are working on it. My 2nd controller is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Will I now have 2 expensive paperweights? Best thing that has come from this is the learning experience for my son. He was supper excited about Stadia coming. I have used this as the perfect way not to handle an issue. Communicate... The lack of communication is the most frustrating part. How hard would it be to send update emails to all of those impacted with updates on a regular basis? Confusing part is why is it taking so long to work through the codes? Manual review? You said it was a tiny fraction of users, should be able to do that pretty quickly. Write a script to identify those impacted, send out the codes. Something doesn't smell right. Any update, placed my order on August 8th?
Just got a call back after putting in the request a couple of ours ago. Very nice person but they have no information, no estimate, nada... just that they are working on it and its been escalated......
